Ok i decided to post this subject because this recently just happend to me.
I started to play Magic agian  and i havent so since middle school but i just couldnt stop the erge. I'm a geek by nature but people think otherwise. I enjoy Anime, Reading, gaming etc etc. Sometimes my friends are suprized at me. imagine a guy that tatted up like a Yakuza playing Magic or some MMORPG game , funny huh. well thats me 8) .
I know some people Will put World of Warcraft (BTW my older bro is a GM for that game and no he cant hook you up.. i tried :( ). So what are somethings that you do that can be considered geeky or nerdy?

Does it have to be computer related?

I used to be a math wizard, attended courses during the weekends, won medals and everything. Then I got into programming, mostly C++, Oracle and Java. It has all more or less faded away now since I chose a different career path.

I think most of us here have some sort of nerdy background.

Um.....breathe?

I'm 100% geek-girl.

My picture? Taken at an anime convention.
Anyone I've ever dated? Being a geek seems to be a prerequisite.
In fact, my first kiss with my latest boyfriend was over the Magic counter at the end of a Friday Night Magic.

So yeah, I exhale pure geek.

I think you and I could get along very well Reaper. ^_~

Funny place to find girls but there are some HB8-HB9 theres. BTW i just relized that you are a female Cinnamon Welcome to the forum. its always great to get the opinion and advice from the other side of the gender.

I listen to be-pop and old school love songs. Like Sam Cooke, The Temptations, Marvin Gay, and I have a bad tendency to listen to crappy 80's love songs.

also I have a secret obsession with Star Wars.

But these "nerdy" things make me different from other guys, which in the long run will be a good thing. Our secrets and nerdy tendencies are part of our personality and we should embrace them (in the right situation) because they can set us apart.

Heh, this year is where I got this picture.

I was dressed up in a style called Erotic Lolita, and I was playing twister. Short skirts, thigh-high fishnets and twister. ^__^

So yeah, I haven't had anyone run game on me, but I would be VERY open to boys running game. The girls you find there are passionate and receptive to game.

If only boys realized the Lucky Star/Haruhi Dance was our way of saying: "Please! Hit on me!".

^_~

I have classes to run off to now, but I'll be back later.

yes i know what Erotica Lolita is. I live in Japan its practicly normal here. If you go to Akihabara you see many many girls there like that. On the Guys running game there on you.. Not many will because how many other PUA's go to events like this? not many i beleive.

Heh, I went to Japan once, when I was 15. Loved it.

Never got a Akiba though, but it's on my list of places to see now.

I've never actually had a guy run game on me at a convention. Which is kind of sad. I had a guy hit on me once, but he was very, very bad at it.

I played WoW for a while and if I had the money to afford it I'd play it now, cause it's a lot of fun. I can't excuse the expense though, so I just got back into playing Diablo 2 cause it's free and I can't wait for 3 to come out. I love playing old SNES and NES games on my emulator, as well as Mario Kart 64 and Smash Bros on the 64 I bought last year because I missed MK so much. I watch a decent amount of anime and I'm really into cinematography, so I have a big collection of tv series and movies. I've got a 300 gig hard drive just for music and I only download lossless stuff cause I'm an audiophile.

Oh and I have the highest post count on the forum!

Things about me that could be considered geeky- I am a big book worm, I read everything from sci fi to classic literature. I also write a lot of my own books (still none published, but there is hope!) I am also a big fan of philosophy, mythology and history.
I am also very good at computers and know Java, C++ and html. I'm also a math genius.

I have many6 qualities many might assosiate with geeks or AFCs, but it is important to remember that ANYONE can get girls, no matter what your hobbies are or what you're good at. You have to be PROUD and CONFIDENT in who you are and what you are capable of, because these things are what make you who you are and you have to find people who will like you for that.

Anyone can walk into a bar and pick up a random girl.
The trick is to make the experience unforgettable to her.
A real PUA will make every women he encounters feel like she experience something once in a lifetime.

I got first place in a province or nation wide math competition in grade 10, lol. I used to do calculus in my head for fun.
