Hey guys, Spirit here, and I'm off to a private Playboy Mansion Helloween party this Friday.

I'm throwing this out to the open forum:

How should I prepare myself for my first Mansion party and what kind of technique should I use(looking for what the forum's popular opinion thinks) that won't get me called out on and blacklisted as a "pickup artist" which is quite frequently happening over there.

A little info on why/how you are attending this event would help. Depending on your role there circumstances will be different. Did you win a contest, know someone important, are someone important, are a reporter, or something else?

I'd suggest you dress up in a more sophisticated costume, something that is based upon the clothes you wear and maybe just a few minor accessories/decorations. Vampires are always good as you mostly just need some pointy teeth (go with something small, not huge teeth, that way you can bite girls on the neck playfully) and perhaps some coloured contacts, just don't be tacky when you do it. Depending on what you look like I'd adjust how you dress. I'd either go with the more modern vampire look of just being well dressed (watch some Angel or Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or maybe go old school and get a black cape and slick your hair back if you can.

First off consider your self lucky to attend one as a male because it is hard for males to get into the Playboy parties. Saying that when you are actually at the party do not be like a kid in a candy store. I am not saying you should have fun and all. But don't get to crazy.

Also I know it will be tempting to go gaga over the girls, but don't. They are human and not object. Yes they are showing off their stuff but still treat them with respect.

I am attending this due to an invite by a friend who works there. Now this invite is very tentative and I have yet to hear back from the guy so this whole thing is a bit in question at the moment. Basically I'm a friend of a worker who works there.

I have some very interesting outfits that look stylish but yet can be pulled off as a costume.

Now my question is what kind of game would you run at a place like the Mansion?

Just don't use Mystery's or Style's stuff. Problem solved.

Be happy, fun, enthusiastic and positive. They all sound like synonyms, but they cover slightly different personality traits and you want to make sure they're all covered. None of that pretending you aren't interested in the girl bullshit either; meaning no "active disinterest" or whatever they call it, openly show your attraction, just don't be a creep about it. Those are the basics, so as long as you know how to handle yourself, then you'll do well!

I assume he means routines, it would be fairly obvious if the OP went down there dressed like a vampiric skiier with an unhealthy appetite for eye liner and the indescriptive urge to cube every girl in and around the vicinity while adopting each and everyone of them.

Never went. The guy who invited me kinda screwed me and gave me information that was very ambiguous. He said last week he's doing a Playboy Halloween party and i'm invited. When I confronted him about it it turned into an "After party he happened to be djing at" What a crock of bullshit. So anyway, I did party the night up pretty well.

The most important thing! Critical, really;

Don't waste your time or energy gaming the models - make FRIENDS with the party hosts, the coordinators, and the magazine/mansion staff.

Then you stand a chance of getting invited back on a non-party night, or when there is a genuine Playboy party, where exclusively guests are in attendance.

Those are the ones where REAL fun is had
