Around here when I enter into shops pretty much everyone asks..

'Hi Can I help you or something a long that variation.

What would be a good C & F response to such a question?

I've often wondered about this.

Maybe answers to "Hi, can I help you?" could be:

- "Yeah, but not here."

- "I'm looking for a bride."

- "Yes."

- "I need an opinion on something..."

- "I've got 99 problems but the bitch ain't one."

Yeah, I don't know really

Go with
"Yea, can you give me a back rub?"

or some obscure item
"I'm looking for a grappling hook."

then you can follow with a neg..

"ohh actually i can see they're not that good" (both must be said C&F - otherwise you will look like an ass)

this should get a smile or a giggle :)
