| Offline | | New to MPUA Forum | Joined: Tue Oct 21, 2008 4:13 am Posts: 2 | | so i just recently joined this forum and have read alot of threads, mainly about getting over AA. i've introduced some friends to this site also. i havn't really tried to talk to any girls or anything but last night i took the first step. after going to the movies with some friends, we decided to hit up the hookah bar. there was a table with a set of three and one kept glancing over and i caught her eyes a few times. my friends were urging me to go over and say hi but i still hadn't gotten over my AA. we left about an hour later and hit up ihop. i was pretty upset and my friends weren't letting forget about it. all of a sudden two HB's walk in and sit two tables from us and my friends told me this was another chance. i hesitate and end up not doing anything about it. we finish eating and we're out in the parking lot when my friends tell that i'm never going to see them again so i might as well go and do it. i thought about it and figured i'll go in and say something. so i pluck up the courage, walk in, go to there table and i say, "sorry to interrupt but i just had to tell the two of you that you are both really cute." they say thanks and point out that their twins. i tell them i can tell cause they look alike and have the same eye color. they say thank you again and i say no problem, have a great evening. i walk out and feel pretty good not only cause i'm starting to get over my AA but because i just made someone's evening just that much better. now i need some guidance as to what the next steps are. i'm going to keep working on my AA but what are the next steps?

| Offline | | New to MPUA Forum | Joined: Sun Jan 06, 2008 10:27 am Posts: 10 | | Well I am an aspiring PUA my self and AA is one of my worst troubles too, though you may not have said a very PUA like thing you at least nutted up said something thats the only way to get over AA.
Just stick with it man, every little thing you do is a success wither you get shut down or you f-close. Its one more thing to add to your mental note of what worked and what didn't.

I'm fairly new to the game as well but you never want to approach a girl and directly complement her on her looks. What you're gonna wanna do is compliment her hair or her clothing or let her know what she can do to make herself look amazing.

If you don't feel good about yourself, you'll always feel afraid because deep down you feel unworthy and working on your outer game will just be a band aide.
