i need prescription glasses should i get contacts? and are there any famous pickup artist that have prescription glasses?

It's all in how you pull them off. Some people look good in glasses, some don't.

Go to a lenscrafters or whatever, and try on some pairs. If you find a pair you like, then go for it. If you can't stand any of them, go for contacts.

I'd say avoid those black rim glasses that everyone and their mom's getting these days, but don't go for anything audacious. You'll have to be comfortable wearing them in ANY social setting, from chillin with a girl to a funeral.

On another note, talk to your eye doctor. Contacts tend to help the eyes improve over time, where as glasses actually hinder your eye's recovery.

I love when guys wear glasses...they are sexy and sophisticated. If you aren't sure get both....that way you can wear contacts and enjoy the benefits of having contacts but by changing it up with glasses every now and then you will have that sophisticated aura about you.

When a guy wears glasses when he usually doesn't I always make it a point to tell them it looks good.

Well, it depends on the person, but usually glasses hinder you. Your best bet would be laser eye surgery IMO. I don't know of any PUA's that wear glasses. Style did, but Mystery made him get Lasik.

Some people look awesome with glasses and actually better than without them if they get the right frames. Other people look much better without them.

Honestly the biggest thing is how you perceive yourself with them. I don't mind my glasses, but when I wear contacts, I feel much more confident and feel more like myself, so it frees me up and I do a lot better socially.

a lot of people who read wear glasses. its a stereo type that people who wear glasses are clever. this has come from the association glasses has with books. instant DHV. im currently doing an A level in communication studies (body language, how people convey their personality etc.) and wearing glasses communicates a few things about a person. im not going into depths here - just giving you a rough idea:
cheap ordinary glasses - no style, cheap for not getting laser or contacts, boring everyday people you would expect to be in an office. you dont want them lol.
colourful glasses - loud personality and conveys it well to others. style and fun. i hear there is this thing called avataar?- . perfect peacocking.
designer glasses - materialistic, fashionable,SOPHISTICATION & maturity (if silver or black). proffesional. you would expect to be seeing a business man wearing them.

find a pair of colourful, preferably designer glasses. and a scarf to add to the sophistication.

APART from conveying your personality glasses are amazing for so many reasons. the main one is hooking your target into the set. if your set is interupted by say - a girlfriend of hers or amog just say hey dweeb hold my glasses for a minute. this way you have marked her as yours to the amog (she wont realise this - he will). when she looks at him she will be looking through your eyes. ill have to make a nlp routine there. hmmm. and she is locked into the set to her gfs. if it happens again let her wear your scarf. say : '' i was born hot. this scarf is doing me no favours. you can wear it''. its a beautiful line. its negging her!!
this is were it gets really smart. that scarf is going to warm her up. and make her body hot. if she then trys and walk away say - ''oi theif! i cant deprive my scarf from being on me all night. give me back my things. as soon as she takes off the scarf shes cold due to the temperature change. you know a physical compliancy test? where you pull away after 5 mins or so of touching in the same place? its EXACTLY the same. if she goes - ahhhhhh nooooo! i love them! or w/e you can close. ioi.
back to the glasses. say your wearing them at night in a club (these arent reading glasses - sunglasses) for peacock. here are some responses you can give if someone asks you why your wearing them in the dark or at night or w.e.
amog - well, its in case you spit. (thats mysterys) or just say - cool - and get back to your convo and block him out (matadors)
hb - i prefer to look at life with an amber tint (i saw that as someones signature line on the website - it made me think)

You do know that laser starts at $250 and goes way up from there right? As far as cheap goes mos people that I know that where glasses buy frames that are between $50 to $100. I am sure there are frames that cost way more than that, but most girls could not tell if some guys glasses are cheap or not.
I disagree. My glasses have a rustic look to them as they are primary black with some spots of bronze/brown thrown in there. They seem to work for me just fine.
I never seen a business person wearing designer label glasses.

its not the price being conveyed its the personality. it doesnt mater if an item costs £50000 - if its at the bottom of the range then its cheap. and no one can tell whether you have had laser surgery or not.

True. But I have notice girls can't tell if my glasses are cheap or expensive or in the middle.

Yes and no. My glasses do peacock some. But they are not bright and flashy liek you mention to get. They are instead almost dull in color.
I highly doubt I will be able to buy anything from them seeing that I am in the US and they don't have a US website let alone any US locations. My best bet is Lenses Crafters with their fashion/designer glasses going no higher than $300.

would you not prefer them to be able to see they are of higher class?

More the opposite if anything. Mostly because the number of girls that are materialistic and/or are gold diggers are to numerous. And I don't want such a girl.

very good point. but if your an any good pua you would be able to tell what it is that the girl wants through EV. if she wants whats in your pockets then ditch her. higher class materials will attract ALL girls. surely it is better to have the gold diggers chasing you (which may i add is a enormous dhv) along with the good girls? and then just despose of the golddiggas?

You certainly have a good point. The main problem with most of the gold diggers around here is that they do the whole compete with the jones thing. There are other ways to achieve and over all high value without really wearing high end stuff. One is just being put well together. You can be wearing all Gap stuff but if you match the clothes and accessories right you can come off as high value. I forgot where I learned this tip on fashion, but if you just wear one high end piece of clothing and the rest of your clothing goes with it, the rest of the look will follow with the high end clothing. As the high end clothing will hide or blend the rest of the clothing to make it look like rest of your outfit is high end.

Or you can do what the rich do and act like you have money. Which is not easy to do if your under 30 tho. But showing that don't care about money would certainly help in this case. Lastly you can drop big names of rich people that you know or "know" and/or pull out a high end DHV.

very nice points. however: things such as gap are not percieved with neutral value. its seen as cheap. dlv. its beter to wear no name at all - or one that no 1 has heard of than one with negative value. i agree. i have studied fashion to quite a high level. completely valid point however - the glasses would do this.

I think the main reason why glasses don't work for most people is because physical attraction is based off facial symmetry. So those of you with prescription lenses distort that symmetry either by making your eyes bigger or smaller than they ought to be. It's not that you won't look good with glasses either, it's just usually people look better without them. But keep in mind glasses can work in your favor by making you look smarter and more sophisticated.
