so the reason i signed up here was to get an answer to the following question, and maybe progress from there

the other day i went out to dinner with the whole family, waitress was very cute, my age, kept eyeing me. she was very friendly, and was talking to me for a few mins before the rest of my family even got to the table

so after dinner my fam leaves, i see the waitress and go up to her and bullshit from a minute, then ask her to get dinner with me sometime
she says yes definitely! shes asks how old i am, im 2 years older than her, we talk bout what college we go to and what were studying, then she takes out her pad and writes down her number and tells me to give her a call (i didnt even ask for the number at that point)
so i tell her ill give her a call sometime the following week and it was very nice meeting her. it wasnt anything awkward at all, it went very well

so 3 days later i give her a call, i get her vmail, its clearly her number so it wasnt fake, and i leave the following message word for word...

"hey ____, this is ____ we met at _____ the other night. im just calling to see if you want to go out for dinner sometime this week, give me a call my number is _____, talk to you soon, bye."

so that was on monday, and its thursday now.

what do you think guys...she doesnt want to hang out, i should be more persistent, i should just forget it?

I'd say just hold on she may get back to you, if not in about a week text her (she may not bother listening to V-mail). Other than that keep on gaming and if she calls you ideal if not its no biggy

First off, good job noticing her IOI's. You saw your window, and you acted. Well done. However, she may be a little reluctant to 'go out to dinner' with you. Why? Nothing against you mate, but it's kind of an ackward situation, where she doesn't know what your expectations are. I suggest not making plans with her, but INVITING her to take part in your plans. Example: "I need to go to the mall to pick up a new pair of jeans, and I could really use a female opinion....blahblahblah." If it goes well then you can improvise and go out to dinner afterwards.
