I've invested alot of time into pursuing the goal of converting from a AFC to a PUA.

I have had very little success, so I'm just going to stop giving a shit and se what happens. this is kind of a test run thing because i think i have been trying to hard.

I am going to put my time into school and lifting.

ill let you know what happens in like a month.

hypothesis: i get pissed off and try again

youve only been a member since june, I dont know if you were studying PU before this or not, but it took me a little over a year to get it down and use it right, dont give up, do study and lift. whatever helps your confidence will help alot, but dont give up so soon man, try PU everyday until you finally see results, then try harder

Just because he's only been a 'member' of the forum for X amount of months doesn't mean he hasn't been exploring this shit for awhile. Mate, let me give you some advice.

I was introduced to the PUA community through The Game, like many of us here. The first real material I went through was David DeAngelo's ebook Double Your Dating. While this was awhile ago, I still remember having dramatic success with girls in my social circle right away. I then moved on to more complex stuff, and that's when this entire complex subculture fully opened to me. This stuff is not easy, if it was, there would not be as many single girls out in the clubs and bars as there are right now. Somewhere in the world, at this moment, there is a girl getting ready to go out and have an adventure. I won't lie to you, you will get worse before you get better. Crashing and Burning sucks, but it's something we all go through.

You've got us, and we will help as much as possible.
Email me if needed.

Seductively,

- Memento

Because giving up is really going to solve your problems?

Ok, so you are going to get back into lifting correct? Well what if you did not see the immediate results you wanted when you start lifting? What would you do then? Continue to lift to get a day closer to six pack abs? Or give up?

The way I see it, if you give up now, and put it off for a month, than you are a month behind in your progress. I say you think of this as a workout program. All the time and effort, all the pain and struggle you are going through right now is what it costs to reach your goals. Set certain goals for yourself. Accomplish those goals, then move onto bigger ones. 6 pack abs don't come over night. Neither does getting good with women.

It is a process and it is going to take time and effort on your part. Giving up on something you want this bad is not going to fix your problems, its going to make them worse.

Good luck bro

CK

I agree with what Chino says here. The point is until you apply yourself you are going to fail. Not saying you haven't but it takes a while to get good.

To quote Michael Jordan: "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed"

You have to find your own reason for doing this. You don't sound as if you are motivated to do it. As you know PUA is no magic pill for getting women all over you. It's something that you have to work at. Sinn recently said in his Game Acceleration Doctorine that 90% of people who start out in this don't make it. The big reason for this is "desire."

People get in this for different reasons. Me I was 25 divorced after beeing with the girl for 6 years and scared out of my mind about meeting women socially. I knew I needed help, and I really wanted to succeed more than anything else in life!

Whatever your reason is to get better find it. Maybe now isn't the right time for you to be doing this, maybe later is. Sometimes taking the pressure of the community off of you makes things easier. Hope you come up with the answers you seek.

You cant give up when you are just getting started. You will never get anything accomplished in life if thats how your going to approach things. When something is hard you dont give up and go do something else, you persist until you conquer whatever the subject is no matter the level of difficulty. Thats the ONLY way you will get anywhere in life.

you guys are right. I feel like I need a fresh start though. I have taken alot of blows to my confidence and esteem, and I need to recover from that. My inner game is weak now.

That is part of it unfortunately. There are times when you mental frame is good and your inner game is strongth. Then something comes along and tears it to shreds. You have to pick up the pieces and when you rebuild you'll be mentally tougher. It's a constant cycle of this that occurs.

Just take your fresh start and kick some ass with it!
