so this is an opener that I've field tested for a while, and I've only gotten positive results. Also I find that when executing openers, I find that it is important to always have a slight grin on your face. typically HBs respond better to openers when the guy looks like hes having fun. Anyways,

PUA: "Hey guys, So I have a bit of a dilemma and I need a stranger's opinion on this; see, I've had this beard since I was about 16 right? and now half of my friends want me to shave it off, but the other half want me to keep it. Guys, what do you think I should do?"

so after this they might have a series of responses. one of such was that a girl asked me "well, what kind of girls are you into?" great opportunity for a neg. All of the girls had something to say. but the best thing to do is to maintain the discussion by constantly questioning their responses. by the way, the approach has to be a bit different on 1 sets. I find they can be a little apprehensive at times. Thats why I suggest with this opener coming off a little lighter with the 1 sets.

What are your thoughts guys?

If it works for you, who cares what anyone thinks of your opener? The opener isn't that important, Mystery claims that situational openers are pointless yet I love them cos they feel more natural for me and I can then guide the conversation where I want it to go.

im guessing it works the same with goatees and soul patches.

I'm growing a beard, and since it's mid grown, is it a good idea to open by asking if I should keep growing it or not?
My beard grows really slowly, so I have this unshaved look for now. I'm thinking a soul patch.
