We're a group of very dedicated individuals who improves our social skills through what Brian Tracy calls Constant Never-ending Improvement. Some of us were originally were part of a previous LAIR but decided there was potential for a better one. As a result, on September 29th, 2008, PROJECT PITTSBURGH was launched!

What We Do

LAIR Meetings

We meet a few times a month for meetings. Sometimes it may be a quick casual get-together before going out or watching new PU releases. Other times it may be a more formal structured meeting for an hour or more where we’d have an open discussion about any topic. We’ve even had guest speakers such as “Fader of Mystery Method” give a LAIR talk and go out with us in the field in the past when we were in the PSN and will be continuing to invite other speakers to our meetings also.

Bootcamp Program

The one thing we don’t claim for sure is to be masters by any means. What is certain is our experience in the game, and doing a ton of approaches. For the last six months Hydro & I have also been helping out the newbies and fellow wingmen improve their success in the field, boot camp style. You may read about us in the field reports to know more about our experience. I even have some field reports from other guys of how I’ve helped them in the field.

But when we helped guys out it was was never officially called a boot camp. We just wanted to give value. But it’s those months that have made us fully confident to start a Bootcamp Program. Unlike a weekend boot camp consisting of a seminar and a night infield, it can be even more effective over a longer period of time such as a few weeks.We’d see where you’re at now, where you’d like to meet women (daytime, nighttime, etc.) and then take it one step at a time. First your approach anxiety, then your opening, attraction, escalation, comfort, etc.

We’d go over with you before you go out what you need to know, do at home drills to give you feedback on your delivery and body language, provide you with any necessary PU related material you may need when you’re at home. Also, doing your “homework,” which may include learning the material you’re going to be using infield, watching/reading/listening to pickup material, and posting field reports so we may provide you feedback on your progress. If you are open minded and are willing to listen to those that have been there and done that, then you will no doubt improve.

What it’ll cost you: It’s FREE! At least for now since we’re still working on a solid structure of the boot camp. Although we won’t have all our shit together, the one thing you can depend on us for is great advice and feedback. All that we ask in return is that you stay the course, put your best effort into it, and write field reports about how we helped you and if it affected your performance in field. We can then use your FRs as boot camp reviews for others to review in consideration of taking a boot camp they’d pay for in the future. Although a price hasn’t been discussed yet, expect it to be very, very small fraction of what a national-level bootcamp may cost.

Over 21 Sarging Events

Most of us go out running our “night game” a few nights a week. Night game is an excellent opportunity for newbies to open a lot of sets in a very short period of time. This speeds up one’s calibration fast. Compared to a slower daytime situation where one would take a longer amount of time to see someone that they’d like to meet. Night game is also an excellent situation in which to practice escalation since it’s usually socially acceptable to get more touchy feely at night. Same night lays or one night stands are far more likely to happen also. What we do is have a great time meeting a lot of new girls while still having a great fun time hanging out with our friends. We constantly give each other feedback after every set, and being a good wingman helping out a friend with a set whether it’s occupying an obstacle or taking care of another guy.

Under 21 Sarging Events

For the longest time there weren’t too much support for under21ers since the over21ers would just go to bars and clubs at night and they’d be left out. The new framing would be that we’d constantly provide events for under21s such as day game places like fairs, malls, street walking, concerts, or even night gaming under21 venues like Club Zoo or frat parties.

Looking to join Project Pittsburgh?

If I could say it in one phrase, it’d be “GET INVOLVED!” We’re looking for guys who are willing to get involved with the LAIR as much as possible whether it be the meetings, sarging, events, forum, etc. There has been too many people in the previous LAIR that we've seen come and go. And we wonder if a more solid structure would’ve made a difference at all. All new members have a 1 month “New Member Trial” period where they’d be judged on the whole how much involvement they have.

At the end of the 1 month period a decision among all full members will be made about the new member staying or not. New members who would take the boot camp which are a few weeks long will automatically be full members at the end of the time period considering the heavy investment the boot camp demands I.e. going out 1-3x a week, writing post-sarge reports on their progress, etc.
