Had a situation last night. A girl I was making eye contact with at a party last night was on her way out, leaving the party to go home. One of her friends had lost their bag somewhere in the apartment, so there was a bit of to'ing and fro'ing as they were trying to find it.

Anyway, the girl in question was in the hallway, and I saw this as my last opportunity to go and talk to her. The only problem was, there was 2 or 3 other guys chatting to her, basically with the same thing in mind that I had!

I didn't want to float around this because it would completely AFC, but I couldn't see an alternative. I made one or two jokey comments about the missing bag but she didn't show any interest. Pity because I felt she was giving me IOI's earlier on in the party.

Thoughts?

She was probably in hurry to get out of the party ad then suddenly her friend realizes she has lost her handbag. Then you come along and piss her off by making jokes abut a handbag that she's pissed off about in the first place.
I would have tried to atleast get her number and leave.

I know the feeling exactly.

I was at the W. There were these gorgeous chicks...but they had two guys with them....I targeted these cockblockers. Chatted made them laugh, whatever, next the girls all came and looked me up and down like a magnet.

Whenever you see this again, a girl targeted by another guy, it's your open door to walk and to disengage them. It'll make you seem more interesting to her because there's nothing to make them seem interesting to her since they're giving her all the attention at first. Then after you have them in some mental contemplation, switch your attention subtly to her, maybe with a neg, if she gives you an IOI, good move on, if not, maybe take the focus away from her again...back and forth sometimes like a little pussy cat with a string.

I'm learning this stuff too but this strategy has been working for me so far.
I just can't get very far beyond the opener yet. I need to work on my progression and reeling in disinterested girls.
