i met a girl the other day in class, i #closed. the next class (2 days later, i had not contacted her since number close) i was sitting a few rows up and she tapped me on the shoulder to say hello

is that an IOI

That's common sense, surely. She gave you her number and you wanna know if saying hello to you after that is an IOI? Come on, you're just looking for us to validate it for you.

Agree with the advice that if in doubt it will be an IOI. If you are doing a decent job gaming her she will be attracted to you - right? So have some confidence in yourself. Kino a bit and see if she returns it.

yeah, i was thinking of taking her too a party (were in college), is this a good idea? I also have a pivot i plan on using, its my best friend she always hits on me when i try and pick up girls

If she gives you her number and you don't use it for a few days of course she is going to react; what you're doing by that is IODing her (a little) for an IOI (her giving you the number).

Even apart from that, if a girl tapped me on the shoulder just for the sake of greeting me and she wasn't a close friend of mine I would still consider it an IOI simply because girls don't normally do that to guys they aren't attracted to in some way.

Very true however; how often is it a girl acts that way without having some kind of ulterior motive/goal? My estimate: around 1/120
