So a friend of mine who is the regular AFC (and I don't have any pretences to PUA dom myself..yet, but this guy really is a "nice guy") really wants to try speed dating. I agreed to go along with him because
A) it got me laid once in the past, a while ago pre-game
B) what's the worst that could happen?

But then I got to thinking, hell, I did well at this even when I was still a total chump. So knowing what I know now even in 4 minutes I'm sure i could clean up. Does anyone have any experiences speed dating? All I remember is some of the women were surprisingly hot..

The worst that could happen is that you get some easy practice and have fun. I say go for it! I would, if we had a speed dating service where I live. Speed dating is all about first impressions and creating instant attraction, right? A great situation to polish your skills! Just be very careful about using canned material, or using the same lines over and over. Remember, you want to be the exception! Not the sleazy guy that says the same things to every woman he's attracted to

I think the best strategy is to go in with a question she isn't expecting (eg anything other than "what do you do, where are you from, is this the first time you've done this" and then get her to qualify for the next 3 minutes.

I figure that good questions are things like, what kids tv show was your favourite, what's the best holiday you've ever had. these will give me a glimpse into whether she meets my standards, as well as evoke happy memories for her which she'll then associate with me. Thoughts?
