so i pulled this HB 8+ using canned messages off of myspace. after a week or so of back and forth messaging i scored the digits. after 5 days of texting i told her coffee tonite.

was wondering just go with a coffee type deal? theres an upscale strip mall out here i was thinkin bout just gettin coffee and walkin a little and talking.

Dude, the coffee thing is okay but it's just been done by everybody. I like doing stuff that is a little more original when I can. Also, when you ask a girl to get coffee she knows it's going to require you two sitting in moments of awkward silence and being forced to talk.

I like going on 1st dates that involve an activity so that you have something to do or talk about other than forced conversation with each other.

As far as what you should be doing. Build attraction the best you can, and definitely kino escalate as much as possible. Of course build enough comfort with her so that she is cool with seeing you again.

Combine the two. Do the shooting first and then the coffee second. This way if things don't go well you can end it after shooting. But if they do then you can sit down and talk.

If you do choose to go through with the coffee idea make sure to be unique. Keep a good rapport, keep kinoing like mad and never let her get bored. Build attraction and try not to come off as needy. Coffee as a first date for an afc is a good place to start and learn. Good luck.
