I've been on this site for about a week reading different story's and opinions. I must say you all seem like very witty interesting people and I'm very open minded to try anything so why not adopt some new techniques.

Anyway I'm at a going away party for my friend who's moving back to Hawaii. At the time there were about 25 people there and only 6 of them were girls. My friend is waiting for his girl to arrive who is with her friend who, so my boys tell me is is a HB8 or 9 but is a complete bitch with no personality. I can't wait to meet her!

They arrive and I greet her friend who I just met a few times about a week ago with a smile and a kiss on the cheek. She intros me to her friend Brittney who looks like she doesn't even want to be there. She is beautiful though petite dark skin spanish girl, wearing a cute black tank top cut jean shorts with the pockets hanging out. I greet her with a very friendly smile shake her hand and say "pleased to meet you" she says "meet to" with half a smile. I walk away.

I come back maybe 5 min later to the circle of my friends where she is and stand across from her. I look at her and say" Brittney I must say that, you look absolutely gorgeous tonight" then I immediately hit her with a neg " I mean your shorts are a lil trashy but love em!" She looked at me like she couldn't believe I just said that as I smiled back at her. Then I made a comment on her bright converse sneakers "now your shoes I do really like a lot" . She made a comment on my shoes blah blah and I walked away.

Came back 10 min later went up and tried to just small talk with her but she was giving me no eye contact and felt she really wasn't into me at all.

I refuse to believe that she was that much of a bitch. It was me I could have done better. It was 1st time really intentionally negged a girl like that. I guess I just couldn't follow through. Any advise on how I could have approached her better and If I see her again how should I act? Thanks

I'll be honest, i read about 3 lines. Then skipped till the last line. Any advice, use paragraphs. My eyes hurt

I'm gonna second what Madals said... break that giant paragraph up... ideally, 10 lines is like the most you want (still remembered sometime from Business Writing! )

Something about your neg ("I mean your shorts are a lil trashy but love em!") seems like... not so neg-ish, at least to me... I mean, i know what you were going for, but how you phrased it, I don't think that really worked for ya... not really sure how to go about helping ya there. Sorry I'm still new to this too.

I read it despite the lack of paragraphs and yeah, if a girl blanks you like that all you have to do is get her attention with something then walk away, that way she will follow after you. A simple "Oh, you're one of those girls" would do the trick in that situation. She'll wanna know what you mean and pull you back and start asking you a bunch of shit. Simple cat-string theory, look it up.

Man that right there was brilliant,the one thing you should have not done is walked away!!!!

You should have kept at her she comented back and you backed down..Next time keep at her she was into you a bit untill you AFCed and left...Keep them negs and smiles comming to a hb like that break her shield...
