I've been studying pick-up for about the last month. I've had some pretty good success... better than I ever thought I would... got plenty of numbers even a few kiss closes.

Tonight SUCKED though.. I know it's ME not the venue/girls/etc.. I opened 3 sets.

All night I had low energy and had a real problem going from opening(A1) to DHVing/Attraction(A2)

Set #1: 2 girls. I open pretty successfully (jealous girlfriend) then try to transition into best friends test. The one girl says she's heard this before.. not necessarily as a pick-up method, but just in general. I calibrate and talk about it anyways a bit.. Then they excuse themselves politely ("Well we are going to go upstairs, it was a pleasure to meet you.")

Set#2: Complete burnout. 2 girls.. I appraoch and "I'm sorry we were talking here"... Me: "Ohh well pleasure to meet you" ..and eject.

Set#3: 2 foreign girls were pretty cute and seemed to be being hit on by some chump guy. I enter the set and open sucessfully. I include the guy in my opener and do best friends on the two girls.. and then transition into some eye-movment routines about telling lies and what not.. "wow you seem to be a visual person.." Well these girls were russian (like from russia) and the language barrier kind of sucked.. and THEN the dude who approached them spoke russian... well when they transitioned into speaking russian I politely excused myself and ejected.

It was past midnight... I was tired... so I caught a ride with my buddy who was leaving and went home... booo...

Nights are never failures, just more things learned. Honestly. Interept as much info as possible from your "crashing and burning" and make it for the best.

That's a good night I would say. Not in that you had a great time or anything, but you learned a LOT. I think energy and inner game is about 80% of the battle. If you don't have that down pat, you may need to retract and sort yourself out.
