I was thinking the other day when I was talking to Juice about going out what all I carry in my pockets and I know other guys I've winged with keep on them. If you haven't thought about keeping some of this stuff around you may want to consider it. Some of the items are self explanatory and others are things I have expanded on. If you don't see something here that you like to keep on you, let us know.
I don't use all this stuff at the same time because I'd need a prop bag like Style. I do keep a lot of this stuff on me though. It's easier during the winter since you have more pockets with a coat.
Breath Strips - These are small don't take up a lot of room and work very quickly. Being a smoker I think these Listerine strips work exceptionally well.
Gum - Another good alternative for your breathe although smacking gum isn't the most attractive thing. Although you can do stuff like Matador's Gum Kiss Gambit where he feeds gum to the girl, take a piece for himself, then tells the girl he's an Indian Giver and wants his gum back.
Cell Phone - Okay this is obvious. There are lots of advantages to having a this around. Keep you notes and routines in your phone in a draft text message. It's easier to have a girl type in her number and that sort of thing. Again, I recommend you get one even if you can't afford the service to have with you. There's other fun stuff you can do with it too.
Pen - Again an obvious one. You can do the 3 mice (Deaf, Mute, Blind) or can do my version of the PEN15 club. Obviously as a backup to get a number if your cell dies, which happens.
Digital Camera - These are so small and it's usually in my back pocket. When a flash goes off in a club people are drawn to look over and see what's going on. I like taking lots of pictures and having lots of pictures taken of me. Get the attention to you. Plus it gives you some extra stuff to put in your field reports or lay reports. This makes for a very easy opener, "Hey, can you take a picture of me and my friends." Makes for some great memories too!
Small Notebook - I use to keep this on me in my back pocket and keep my routines, openers, negs, and other stuff I needed to know in it. I also use to take notes on it as the night progressed to write a more detailed field report.
Lint - If you remember Style's Lint Opener, yeah I still use this at times, and it makes for a descent neg too.
Lighter & Cigarrettes - Yeah, I smoke. But even if you don't I'd keep a cheap small lighter in your pocket, it makes for a great icebreaker. In a club a lot of people are bumming smokes and asking for lights...it's about the easy opener you can do.
Condoms - Duh! Be safe out there. Keep at least two on you at all times you're out. You never know where or when you will be able to, and you'll kick yourself the day you forget it. Also, check the expiration date on these, if it's getting close replace them immediately. Don't mess around with your life.
Comb (optional) - some people I know keep a small travel size comb with them in their pocket to check themselves.
Cologne - Carry around a small sample size bottle of your cologne so that you can add a squirt about half way through the night when everyone elses has worn off you'll be fresh and clean!
Photos - mostly I use the photos on my cell phone for this. If you are familiar with Mystery's photo routine that he uses to DHV himself by showing him doing different things in the pictures I do a variation of this with the photos in my cell. Thanks technology!
Extra Rings or Necklaces - If you use lock in props you might want to have some extra around so you can replace it after you use it. I like using cheap mardi gras beads!
Then there is the really obvious stuff, KEYS, CASH, ID, and CREDIT CARDS.
