Hi I'm a new member from Dublin in Ireland, there are basically no other PUAs here that I'm aware of, just legions of drunk AFCs, porn addicts and catholicised virgins.

I am different, I have given up being drunk, starting doing PU this year, and I have made pretty decent progress, but I still have a lot of sticking points. I'm not into theory, I learn from my mistakes. I go out typically 3-5 nights a week, approach 10-20 sets a week and can number close with ease. My next step really is to get same day F closes and start closing proper HB9s and 10s.

I was on masf but I found it pretty cliquey, so I clicked a link to here on the excellent blog adventuresofapua.

Hopefully I can learn a lot here and make my own contributions.

I'm also from Dublin and recently started sarging. It is going very well so far, managing to to number close with quite alot of the sets i am opening and k close from time to time also. The main thing it has helped me with is self confidence, I feel better about my whole life with this new found confidence. Have you sarged during the day yet? If so where?

Thanks for the reply. That's cool, there were no active Irish people on masf, just a few lurkers. Good to see others out there!

I haven't done daygame - I don't know where to do it. All the supermarkets are full of people in shell suits pushing prams, and the coffee shops are full of middle aged people. I reckon college campus would be good but I'm not a student.

I am all about nightgame. This is because my work schedule has changed and I now start at 10am. I don't get pissed and live 5 minutes from work in the city centre. So I can go out any night I want, wake up at 9am and go to work feeling fine. Now is the right place and time to practice my PU. Also: all the hot chicks are in the clubs.

I agree with you on the self confidence. Making the leap from typical Irish guy who needs 6 pints before he can talk to that girl to wannabe PUA talking to 10 groups of girls in a night before he has even been to the bar is a major step. But well worth it. I get a serious buzz from this, the last time I g closed I felt myself, I was physically trembling with the adrenaline. It's a bit like poker - you can have a big hand and know you're going to win, you play it perfectly according to plan, and it's only afterwards that you realise how fast your heart is beating.

I'm going to start posting field reports soon, hopefully you'll recognise some of the places and scenarios I mention!
