Sup guys. My friends call me core/dutchy ("core" due to my taste in music and "dutchy" because they're confused ) and I am from the wonderfully corrupt hole which some people refer to as South Africa.

Anyway, I got dumped last week after a 4 year relationship (I'm 20 btw)
so I have no idea how to go about meeting new people, not even to mention picking up girls.

Basically, my goal for the next month is to learn how to get a HB's number.

Any tips or recommendations on books etc?

I've just bought Mehow's Get the Girl and although the first 60 pages or so are relatively basic, I dont really feel comfortable with his "style" because it almost seems like he's relying on acting a bit gay to get under the radar, which I just dont want to do.

I started with "The Game", and is now reading Mysterys books... "The Mystery method" first "The game" is more a book about the whole PUA business than it is a manual for picking up girls, but if you have the patience I suggest you start there... it's a great introduction, and a great way to understand how to realize your goals and how you go about becoming more attractive to girls in general.

I agree with dronten, start with those two books so you can get an overview of the whole PUA business. I also started in the GAME after me and my GF broke up....so welcome!

I also started with The Game and Mystery Method when I broke up with my gf of 1.5 years back in January. A friend of mine also picked up the books, he had been single for 2 months. We decided to get away from everything and go to Puerto Rico to try it out (and vacation).

It was an amazing trip, as I had never done this stuff before I would normally have been hesitant to try it out in my home town, but in a foreign setting you let loose a little, nay, a lot more. I HIGHLY recommend trying something like this out if your just starting.
