Things are going well lately. Have 2 HBs in rotation right now and sarging at least 2 nights a week. yesterday an HB calls me. It's loud where I am and I can't hear well.

HB: "Hey cutter"
Cutter : " Hi who's this?"
HB: "Eileen"
cutter: "I'm sorry I don't remember you. Where did I meet you?"
HB: " seriously?"
Cutter; "I'm sorry but you're name's just not ringing a bell?"
HB: " I met you last week. you were out with your friends"
Cutter: " still no help babe."
HB: " are you serious are really that many girls that you don't remember me?"
Cutter " well uh....um...yup."

She goes on to explain where we met and who we were with to the point that I now remember her. the noise where I am is still not conducive to talking on the phone. so finally I joke alittle apologize for not remembering her right away and tell her that i'll call her tomorrow (which is today) and we'll set up something for this weekend. I think i was messed up because instead of giving me her number she took mine. when this happens I give my number and expect to never hear from them again.

Has this ever happened to any of you? what do you do in this case?

It has happened, but I usually let the conversation go on without asking. If this happens in public though, I think it might be good for a neg or some c and f. After talking with a girl, purposely call her by a different name.

Yeah don't worry about it. Lots of guys including myself use this as a neg or a chance to use some cocky and funny. Sometimes I deliberately call someone with the wrong name (I'm not good with names) in order to tease her. No big deal. Just be playful about it and don't make a big deal out of it.

This interests me. You guys forget or pretend to forget her name on purpose. Any more background info on this one other than a form of a neg.

Its a neg, as well as a false disqualifier and DHV in my game. The chick thinks I'm not after her because I don't remember who she is and I just met her, shows im uninterested and un-entertained. It also hints to the fact that I'm too busy with other things than remembers her name. 9 times out of 10 I won't even bother to ask a girl her name, and when she does, I'll call her the wrong name or ask again later.

Haha Meth, that's the same as me, except for me, it's impossible to remember a name the first time I hear it. I don't know why, but ut just never registers when someone says it the first time. They may as well say 'Hi, my names go fuck yourself'

I havent ever forgotten a girl's name that i was sarging, but last night i decided to give it a shot. I talked to her for a little while and asked her name and then told her that i wasnt going to be able to remember her name because i know too many (insert name)'s and shes gonna have to do something to stand out. So she asked my name and then i told her shes a terrible person because i know she wont remember my name (personally around here it would be impossible because no one has a name like mine and girls just love it anyway). She leaves to see her friends then 5 minutes later i find her and purposely call her the wrong name and then challenge her to remember my name which ofcourse she remembered. I even did this to her sister that was there with her right after and worked again.

What I have found from my name learning disability, is that making up a name for someone and having them give you a false one gives you 2 a little in joke together. It could come by something like this:

PUA: (to wing) Ahh, this is my friend I met earlier on..... Sarah...
HB: Your useless! It's Claire!
PUA: No it isn't! I think I would have remembered something like that!
HB: Yeah it is!
PUA: Well, it's irrelevant. You look like a Sarah to me, so that's what I'm gonna call you. I bet you don't even remember my name!
PUA: (If she does) Wow, a memory like an elephant! Well, what do you think I would be called if you saw my for the first time? (HB says w/e) Ok, call me that from now on.
(If she doesn't remember) HA! And you were giving ME shit about it? (same thing with new name as above)

One thing I forgot to mention is
sometimes when I didnt understand clearly the name of the girl (for x reason) i would pretend i heard right, but then made up name for her, like if her name was "michelle" or sounded like it started with a "M" i would say, "what muffin?"

I think you should use the neg "Sorry what was your name again" next time you see her and if she doesnt laugh or is still pissy then just say:
"it was loud in the club and i didnt hear the name properly i thought you were saying Ellen and i was like umm...ook?"
