Generally just hold your own ground firmly. I remember in high school I sat next to this girl with a really big bitch shield in Spanish class. We were in a group of 3 and this other guy was a total reactive AFC. She would throw shit tests at him or even just stare at him and he would flinch and freak out, bending to her will at her every whim. One time I negged her for something and she gave me that cold stare to shit test me, and I just stared right back without flinching. For the rest of the year she was really nice to me while she still pushed the other kid around. It was interesting to see the contrast.

practice your shit tests, and always be on the ball.
Be snappy with your comebacks and use lots of heavy negging.
Make sure you arent rude though, its a fine line between negging to lowering a bitch shield and being rude/insulting.
