Ran into a girl I flirt a lot with in a cafe yesterday evening. I was with a friend, she was already sitting there with another. They were just about finished when we came in, so we didn't sit with them, and I sat with my back facing her.

Question 1: Was this a good move?

I also remembered just after she left that she'd really hurt her finger a few days ago. I meant to mention it, but by the time I thought of it she was gone.

Question 2: In what kinds of situations should I have mentioned it?

Now though I'm thinking about flicking her a message on myspace, "hey, hope your finger's better!".

Question 3: Should I do this? On the one hand it seems like a good idea, it's nice, friendly, but is it a bit AFC?

You should definitly have opened her before.it's weird not to have.

However now you'll find it easier to message her on myspace by asking if it was her you saw the other ay in the coffee shop as you where with a friend you didn't really notice until she got up to leave.

This way you're kinda demonstrating the fact that even though you flirt with her you don't give her too much value.

Then you can bring up the finger in the conversation.

Hope this helps.

Any questions just ask.

AFC Adam,

Yeah, it does, thanks Adam. She said goodbye on her way out though and we talked briefly, introduced our friends etc, after which I kinda ignored her. Is it just the AFC in me, or is now a good time to mention her poor finger? :P

I think the whole thing of sitting near her with your back to her was a bad idea. There's some video on youtube of Mystery talking about proximity I think. He said that girls who want you to open them will tend to gravitate towards you. The one who is interested in you will have her back to you as the other two are looking over her shoulder at you to see if you noticed them. Anyway, back to my point...sitting with you back to her displayed interest because you wanted her to talk to you, but didn't actually open her. *shrug* Any other opinions on this?

regardless of who she was witch, you should have approached her, even if just to be friendly.
And why not bring up the finger there too,"so, are they gonna have to amputate? lol"
etc..
