i've never done it, so i can't say for sure, but it seems that fucking a chick you're not attracted to would lower your confidence.
so if you're not attracted, by all means ditch her, if you are though i say rock on because its definately a confidence booster then.
just watch out for what i'm currently experiencing - lack of motivation, thinking "i got guarunteed ass, why should i sarge" - sarge for the fun of it, and of course the potential upgrade!

Stick with it til a) she gets too needy, b) she gets to crazy c) you find something better

My only concern is that having a fuck buddy will lower your drive when it comes to meeting other women, because in the back of your mind your thinking "I don't need to try as hard because I can always call by FB and she can fufill my needs." I would think that time spent with a FB could be used to meet other women. Just a thought.

However we are missing one important point- HB8,9S AND 10S
