Sorry if this Field report seems long and drawn out but it is my first one an I have been wanting to improve my skills. I'm a 6' 2” with blond hair and blue eyes and pretty good looking, but I have a lot of approach anxiety and am only decent with talking to women.

So the other night me and a buddy of mine went to one of the local clubs that I haven't been to in a while. Upon arriving we realize that the place seemed to turn into a hangout for thugs and hood rats. Reluctantly we go in anyhow. I looked around and headed to the bar for some drinks. At the bar there was a HB9 bartender that I decided to make some small talk with about how the club looked different since I last been in there. She seemed really friendly and unlike most bar tenders at other places didn't walk away when I ran out of things to say. This pumped up my mood a little bit and decided to go out side on the patio since I had a head ache and it was hot as shit in the club. Once out there we just sat. There was a two set right across from us but since it was so early in the night it was quiet out there and knew if I opened them all eyes would be on me (for some reason I make every excuse possible to not open up a set). To try to get myself in the game a bit I chatted with one of the bouncers because he seemed to know a few of the girls that hang out there. I asked the bouncer if he could hook me up with some aspirin so I could get rid of my headache. After me and my buddy went back inside and just stood there. At this point the my buddy wanted to leave because we had been there an hour and I only talked to a bar tender and a bouncer and he didn't talk to anyone. I of course wasn't feeling it either, but I didn't want to give up. This pissed him off to the extent were he looked like he was going to punch me in the face. So I knew I had to stop being a pussy and act. There was a three set standing in front of us a HB8.5 and HB9 and a fat chick. The HB9 left to go get a drink at the bar so the other two were just standing there. I pulled myself together and walked over to them and said Hey, you guys see my friend over there? He is really pissed and if you guys can get him in a good mood I'll give you $10 (I made this up at the spur of the moment. For some reason if I do open a set I almost make something up at the spur of the moment).
They agreed to do it and then I said I don't think you guys can handle the challenge this guy is pissed and if he knocks you out it won't be my fault ( I made sure to talk to both the ugly chick and the HB8.5). They laughed and said the HB9 who was at the bar will do it. So when the HB9 came back with her drink I took the three set over to my buddy and he chatted with HB9 who by the way was a little drunk. I started talking to the fat chick and the HB8.5 about how there are a lot of the guys here that look like the stalker type and they laughed and agreed. Then I told them that I seen a statistic that one and four women have stalker type tendencies(something I made up earlier in the day) and then I said so there's a good chance one of you guys are a stalker. They laughed and the HB8.5 said “thats the fourth girl, we left her at home”. I did some other stuff that included telling the girls they're cool and giving them high fives and teased the HB8.5 and bit and HB9 too. I can't remember how long I was talking to them but all of a sudden HB9's ex boyfriend came up and started talking shit to me and told me to he's going to give me 10 seconds to walk away. He was a pretty beefy guy and I don't think I said anything and just stood there(I was not going to leave that easy). Thats when my buddy stepped in said “Larry b****, s**** county police officer” then the guys buddy pulled him away to go outside. I then gave HB9 crap about bringing drama with her. After talking a bit the stupid cubic shuffle song came on(I hate that song) and they started dancing and since everyone around me was dancing I decide to also. While I was dancing I didn't want to make it seem like I was their little puppet so I started chatting with a HB7 that was dancing next to me and asked her how many steps you take (I joked with her about some other things too) when the song got over I started talking to the HB7 about how old she was 18 and told her I was 24 and old enough to be her dad. She laughed and I seemed really friendly. I seen the HB8.5 look over a few times while I was talking to HB7 (Bam! social proof). I talked to her a little more then told her I had to go find my friends. My buddy and the three set went outside to the patio and were just standing there. Lol. Good thing I came out in time because my buddy lacks a lot of confidence and social skills when it comes to women. I think maybe the only reason HB9 kind of liked him is because like her psycho ex, my buddy is a very muscular guy (or she wanted to make her ex jealous). I chatted and teased HB8.5 more and we all went back inside I ordered HB9 to dance with my friend and I told HB8.5 to dance with me(damn I have to do everything). We danced and then talked some more (can't remember about what). By this point I had been around the girls for about 45 mins and was still in A2. I told them it was hot and we were ready to go( the main reason is I didn't want to follow these girls around all night and it would be hard for me to isolate HB8.5). HB9 told that we needed to stay and my buddy (who wanted to punch me earlier for not leaving) wanted to stay. Told HB9 that it was too hot though and she said lets go out to the patio so I said ok and started walking outside. Once out there I turned around and no one followed so I figure fuck it I'm not going back in ( even before I started reading about the game I refused to be a puppy most of the time). I sat out there and talked to the bar tender for a bit. A few minutes latter a HB8.5 and the fat chick came out and looked around ( I'm going to assume they were looking for me) they looked around and then went back in (not sure if they seen me and seen I was talking a bartender and just went back in or what I'll take it as an IOI though). So after chatting a little bit more I went back and told HB8.5 and the fat chicks to but the their phone numbers in my phone and ripped on HB8.5 for not knowing how to work my cell phone.. then I went and danced with HB8.5. Some chick song came on next and I said I wasn't going to dance to it. I went and stood by th bar and decided to talk to some big black women beside me about how my buddy can't dance. HB8.5 tried waiving me on th dance floor but I shook my head and continued talking to the big black women. When A new song came on I went and started dancing with HB8.5 and told her that “now I'm going to have to dance really good because I told the big black women over there that my fiend was a terrible dancer and she probably expects me to be really good”. After dancing I told them we were leaving and they said they were too. They actually left first because my buddy was hooked on the HB9 (I wanted to leave first and have them follow to establish the frame that they were following us) so we walked them to there car and said good night.

The good
I think its a good thing to leave the target once in a while and go talk to anyone although good looking women are probably most effective but just talking to anyone is better than just standing there.
I don't think I chased after HB8.5 too much.
I was playful and did negging and take aways
I got quite a few IOI's from HB8.5 ]

The bad
I was petty much in A2 the whole time
I probably should have said something to the guy that got in my face
I stood around the first hour I was in the club
I didn't have the best wing

I think it's going to be hard fro me to get the HB8.5 to go out with me because I didn't do any comfort
I'm thinking about calling her and saying “I got a ten minute break and figured I'd give you a call” then talking a bit. then calling her a few days latter and tell her I plan on doing something(not sure any ideas) and she should come. What do you guys think? Also I hate standing on the side lines while waiting for my opportunity to talk to a girl like every other AFC.
