Any time a girl asks me if I'll buy her a drink, I say " I don't buy drinks for strangers, but if you do/(want to keep me around) I'll take a [insert your drink]. If you just met, she will feel manipulative/needy and if you've been talking for a while, she'll take it as a neg to her opening up in conversation and as a disqualifier if she thinks you may be trying too hard.
