Hi all

I will be at Ed's Diner near charing cross road just after 8. I think a few others will be joining (Skulder, Oracle 1 et al) so come along if you're interested. We'll come up with a game plan when we're all there.

If you haven't met any of us before pm me your number and I'll let you know where we're at.

Later

guys, good to see you remain so committed.

I (and Jarvis) have been off at Glastonbury. Prior to that I was away in Belgium. Have no intention of quitting but taking a couple of weeks off while I shake off my Glasto Come Down (it's quite something).

Will be heading out with a vengeance at the end of July.

See you all then

Greg

Sounds like you had a GOOD time in Glasto! I find that orange juice and broccolli with your meal helps a lot btw!

hey folks--i posted awhile back about day prowlin'...getting better at it, and I like the fact that you get to meet real people who don't have their guard up as much. A number close also means a bit more than at night..

From here on out i'm going to do a bunch of it, solo or with company...usually after 5, but since I"m a student it's pretty flexible. PM/txt whenever if you're up for it.

Yeah I'm up for it, been trying a bit of it myself with varied success. Let me know when you're going out next, I'm trying to do seven days in a row...! :s

fun night, kids--(bummer I had to leave early--hopefully you guys are all still there!)

thoughts on the night--I enjoyed the music, crowd was mixed, generally in a good mood and approachable.

Downside--I couldn't bloody move!

Anyone know what that place is like on, say, a Thurs. nite?

I sincerely hope that someone last night used the old tried and true standby universal opener:

"Is that an oversized plastic parrot on your shoulder or are you just glad to see me?"

If not, I'm disappointed. It works everywhere--banks, libraries, even tropical rainforests.

On that note..I saw someone with a full meter long stuffed weasel, complete with wooden pedestal, on the tube. Stuffed as in by a taxidermist. A real one.

Something is amiss...

oracle...there was a girl with a plastic parrot? You're kidding me--I have no idea what you're talking about 8) Women don't carry plastic parrots around London on Saturday night.

Yeah--I heard rumours you and L-Can were about--I was towards the back most of the time so didn't see you guys--then I wanted to catch the tube so I was off by around 11:30.

Big Chill was OK, it wasn't as good as Cheapskates or Jewel on Friday night. A bit too loud and crowded. I imagine it might be better on a Thursday, Fargo might know as it's about three feet from his front door...!

Me and Peter did some Day Game today in Chelsea.

I started off real shite. Made an approach on a HB8 and a HB9 who were eating together, but already I made too many mistakes before the approach (one of them was that I kept making eye contact with the HB9 and then not doing anything) and then after the approach froze three bloody times as my opener did not go to plan (I thought they were Swedish when in fact they were Lithuanian) and the HB9 got pissed off  (could see by her facial expression) though the HB8 was really nice!

After the bad start, learnt from my mistakes and me and Peter scored on a HB10 later on in a shop!!!
She was bloody hot! Almost number closed, but we got her facebook add instead (and that's without any Kino!) and she said she wants to come out and see one of my performances, so all in all a good day.

Hope to do more day gaming.
Anyone up for day gaming this week let me know!

With reference to the above post I can confirm that this blonde was fuckin gorgeous. You can't get much better than her. Later on I saw an actress in Sloane Square tube, the Asian girl in the bbc drama 'Mistresses'. I executed a textbook example of indrect approach theory. I have found her on facebook now and it remains to be seen if she confirms my friend request...
