Hello, I am an English 19yo AFC. I live just outside London and I've been working in my community pharmacy for the last year. Enough of that boring crap. Here is what happened since i picked up Style's "The Game" a week ago:

My boss recommended "The Game" saying that it was a really funny story and one that i had to read. Now, I'm not a big reader, but soon after i read the first few pages, I found myself hooked and unable to put it down. I've nearly finished it already and have found myself watching PUA vids on youtube and reading various topics on this forum.

Yesterday my buddy invited me to his buddy's (who i didn't know) house party. As I wouldn't know anyone there, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out some of the things i had read about, especially the openers, so i decided i would go home, peacock up (I just put on my most colourful clothes that i had reserved for raves,) grab my nearest friend, and hit the house.

When we got there, i saw my buddy having a convo in a group of 3 semi-attractive girls and one other guy. I immediately approached them, greeted my mate with a hug and then opened up with: "Hey guys which do you prefer, bright green, or blue," as i pointed to my trainers which had odd bright shoe laces. It felt awesome getting a great response from such a simple question, they seemed to like my strange fashion sense. One of the girls asked why i was wearing them, to which i replied "i couldn't choose between them so i decided to wear one of each." Then I asked them how they new each other, a question which also went down really well and allowed me to find out a bit about them. Before i new it i was the center of attention in the mini group and it really felt great because usually i am one of the quiet ones. Knowing what to say really gave me a confidence boost.
It turned out to be a good fun night, even though i didn't manage to close any targets there was definitely a lot of flirting. The things that i really struggled with were the negging and the kino. They are just things that don't come very naturally to me, I've just always thought that its best to be a nice guy to everyone, especially girls... what a load of crap that turned out to be.

Today I was working all day. At the end of my shift, as it was dying down, a HB walked in with a prescription. It turned out to be a very old friend that i hadn't seen since primary school (ages 4 - 11.) Although her attractiveness made me slightly nervous, I did my best to hide it as i engaged her in conversation. To my surprise she seemed nervous too; she was constantly twirling her hair and found it very hard to keep eye contact with me (is this a good sign?) I teased her for it, saying that my 10yo sister does it all the time as well, then i said that it was kinda cute, she grinned.
We were talking for about 10 mins before i realised what my boss was doing. He saw that i was talking to a HB so he was stalling the prescription so i had more time to talk to her. I went to get it and he only issued half of it, telling me to tell her that i would deliver the rest to her house after my shift tomorrow. I couldn't muster up the stones to say that, so i simply said that the rest was on order and will be ready for collection tomorrow, to which she replied that she is working all day tomorrow so will be back on saturday to collect it. i said thats o.k. and we said our "C ya later"s.

My boss still reckons that i should turn up to her house tomorrow after work to deliver it, giving some kind of excuse like: "i was coming by this way anyway" or something but I'm really not sure.

I would really appreciate some advice on this, i feel as though i should do something. I mean, i have absolutely nothing to lose right? what would a PUA do/have done in this situation??

Thanks, its awesome to be a part of a group like this

- Squirrel

Thanks man! You are so right. I can't just let this opportunity slip by like I usually would. She doesn't even live far from me, I have no excuse. I just hope I'm not gonna look as scared as I'm gonna feel haha.

Don't worry about fear man. Like Steve P said, fear is just negative energy. Fear is just an evolutionary mechanism that helps us survive. If you never felt fear, you would probably be dead. But really the key is harness that negative energy, and filter it out into positive energy. The girl clearly likes you, so you have nothing to worry about. Im glad your in our community! I look forward to future communication with you.
