So i've seen this topic pop up in threads and posts for a while now and thought I would address the situation of people learning about PUAs. Well atleast offer my 2 cents (/2 pence being from the UK).
With 'The Game' being a popular and more commonly known book, The Pick-up Artist on VH1 and with talk shows inviting MPUAs on their shows; The community is becoming more known about and a common view is this will bring out world crashing down. Me? well i beg to differ.

Evolution

Everything in order to survive must evolve, so due to this community becoming more public we must too. How? Well we already naturally are. Ranging from complete new systems and techniques to new openers , K closes and gambits. We are Evolving and of course therefore improving. Gone are the days were people soley regurgitated a stacks found in a book. Now every adds their own twist to routines and formulaes, field tests then reports back to the community. We are now constantly increasing are survival value due to this required evolution of game, and what do those HBs look for when assessing a man? Survival value.

From their point of view

One of the fundamental abilities of a great PUA is to 'leave them better than you found them' leaving them with an experiece they will never forget. Yes gradually more people are being called out due to women/girls reading the game but if they enjoy being 'Picked up' by a PUA (which they should if you have reached a high enough level) then its not a bad thing. Its your job to show them that they would rather we have game than don't.

Thats just two points and a splitting headache is preventing me from bringing up any more lol. But this will force the community to evolve and improve it means that PUAs will get out in the field and improve their game more than they have , so that when they do get called out they have the game to still pull it off.

Hey, if it does become that common knowledge then like online game and text game have come from the changing of the times, then im sure game designed for people who know who we are will soon arise.

As one of the young members of the community (19), I can't wait to see how this community evolves.

Agreed plus as a PUA you hsould construct your own outer material thus, and the indirect systems all slip under the radar so thier should be no worries about canned material being found by non-PUA's.

People need to relax.

Good post :D

Evolution of the game is, in essence, what makes it so powerful in the first place. If you actually read 'The Game', then you can see that Neil goes and gathers information from a lot of various sources and manipulates it and changes it to suit him best. I believe that everyone aspiring to become a mPUA will do this. Thus, it will be harder to get caught out etc.

However, if I was sarging and I was hit with a HB who had read the game, then I would just try and wing it from there and then try and not use any well known routines from there. But then again, I am a complete newb still and aren't able to stand on my own two feet.. just yet.

That's my thoughts!

Every time I run into this "problem" I say something to this effect.

"I'm sure you or some other girl you know has either wished that the nice, smart and caring guys you know were as attractive to you as the assholes you've dated or that the assholes you've dated were really caring, nice sweet guys on the inside."

At this point they agree to one degree or another

"Most women, especially attractive ones, struggle with this their whole lives. Well, all these people are doing is making it so that nice, smart and caring guys who are actually very attractive to women actually exist and are somewhat available. They're no longer a myth. They're literally solving one of the biggest problems for women in human history. In my personal opinion, you and every other woman on this planet owe them a huge debt of gratitude. You can start by buying me a drink."

I've given some variation of that speech more than a few times. I like it.

BAM! Exactly! Women are not the enemy for a PUA, and malevolent manipulation is not part of any decent man's game. Without getting into the old gripe-fest, women do NOT want "nice guys." Many of us here are recovering "nice guys" who know this lesson very well. A lot of us here are actually great guys and good catches. We just need to stop holding ourselves back. I've been in multiple situations where I've been LJBFed, and the girl involved genuinely wished that it hadn't come to that. I built comfort without establishing attraction, and destroyed any opportunity women had to see me as something besides a friend. Nobody can control their own attraction, but we are all here because we want to be able to influence and nurture it in others. All we're doing now is giving women a fighting chance to see us as something more than what they have in the past.

For the record, I see the community moving further and further from rehearsed routines and such, and further into inner game and thinking on the fly. Kinda like a big self-help and improv course. Only more fun.

Illumin and otatop

Spot on, one of the fundamental keys to the evolution of the community is that women are not the enemy of the PUA and equally PUAs are not the enemy of women. DeAngelo put it well when he said:

"Many women will take what is available to them (even if they have to
do a little manipulation for it), but they will ultimately resent and
disrespect a man that gives too much to them."

Feeling disrespect and resentment for something or someone is not beneficial to anyone, a PUA does not cause these feelings the same way an afc would. If a girl/woman feels an attraction for someone and the male doesn't know where to go from there, ultimately both sides feel a sense of loss.
