Hey everyone, I'm Jericho and I'm from Holland. I've been dabbling in the world of pick up ever since I started reading Double Your Dating by David Deangelo when I was 16. I'm 19 now, and I'm afraid to say not a lot has changed. I am, however, committed to making pickup a part of my life, as I do think it should be a skill every man should posess. Also I want to get laid.

Now that that's out of the way, I've got something on my mind about something that happened today.
See I'm taking a re-sit course for a difficult exam that's coming up, and I'm in a class of around 10 people. Thing is, I've noticed a girl eyeing me from the opposite side throughout most of the class. It was subtle, but enough to catch my attention. Now I know I may have been mistaken, but I was willing to make use of it anyway.

During the break, I actually hit it off with her pretty easily, as she was quite a talkative girl. Still, I realized I was heading in the "friends" direction and knew I had to change course fast.

That's where it gets hard, guys. I have no idea how to suddenly swirl a conversation around like that. It seemed to me like it would be extremely awkward if I suddenly started talking about her appearance or whatnot right after having been the quiet boy throughout most of the class just 5 minutes ago. Also, a part of me found it inappropriate to hit on a girl I was studying with (don't ask me why).

I had a full 10 minutes or so alone with her, during which we talked mostly about our previous highschools, where we lived, and I asked her if she liked going out in Rotterdam (including a desperate attempt at busting her balls in between).

My question is: What would you have done in my position?
I feel like I let the situation fail in front of my eyes. After class, the girl took off without even saying goodbye. Maybe she was disappointed in my friend-behavior?

neg her and try kino.. try 'touching' her from the moment youre start talking to her. (like youre always touching everyone), I think that's what the theory is, correct me if im wrong puas!

I'm in the world of pickup since reading The Game by Neill Strauss just a couple of weeks ago.
I have the same problem but I think my skills are improving
When you're talking to a girl try to listen very carefully to what she's saying
and of course look for IOI's. That's the way to keep the conversation going, and in the future try to let the girl remember you! By asking her if she passed the exam or something. ( BUT don't chase her when she hurry's out off the classroom)

Like justd0it said negging is also very important

Try searching on this forum because I bet that a dozen other guys have the same problem.
