I feel that people give foreigners this aura, like Italians for instance. we perceive them as being good with women and having the ability to make women fall to their knees. is it just perception, or is it something about them? like their culture, behaviors, charm, thought processes, beliefs? what can we learn from them?(if anything)

yup... I think being "European" gives an excuse to act ridiculous sometimes, to kiss women on the cheek as a "greeting", to wildly gesticulate, to have an accent, etc...

People like things exotic. Especially as mating partners - introduces new genes.

Take it from me... Italians suck at pickup! It makes being a PUA so easy when they all behave like complete AFCs and/or run direct game... Girls are so tired of the macho style that they respond very well to real game...

Don't be so fast to generalise. Not all girls want the same thing, and not all Italians fit your stereotype either.

so there is nothing exceptional in their behavior?

italian, french, and spainish are all romantic languages and they just sound smooth and eloquent to most westerners. but romantic in the sense that a lot of their language is derived from latin, which of course was the main language in rome during the roman empire. languages like german, russian, nordic languages, etc. all sound harsh and are very guttural and not as smooth sounding as the previous languages mentioned.

and of course, in this western world (assuming that the author of this question is from somewhere in north america) eastern languages (chinese, japanese, vietnamese, etc.) are unfamiliar and have almost no root words in common with english, except of course brand names.

I'm from central europe and I live in Canada ( I'm shy and I have no success with women ) .... but here's my two cents:

One reason why some foreigners might have lots of success with women might be the fact that it's very easy for women to open conversations with foreigners ( she can always ask questions such as where are you from, how is the weather like in ... etc )

Not really. Its just that its something new, something exciting. Alot of guys are attracted to certain types of foreign women. I know guys who almost refuse to have sex with girls that are the same race as they are (they obviously wont refuse sex, but you get the point). But just because you are foreign doesnt mean its an instant F close. Actually, true foreigners (people who are actually from another country, not people who have foreign ancestry) stand a greater chance of screwing up when it comes to women, as there are certain cultural differences (mainly in humor) that dont correlate as well in some places as they do in others.

If you've ever been to Italy, you'd know that Italian men are (generally) the opposite of smooth. Don't buy into the media.

Ok, let an actual Italian give his opinion:

Italian men are not smoother than for instance, Anglo-Saxon men. They are merely tuned for a different kind of pickup, a more Mediterranean, Romantic kinda nonsense. Everything branded up here as cheesy is seen as romantic down there. Naturally there are exceptions to the rules.

Being an Italian in the UK does NOT make pickup easier. Mentioning that I'm Italian is a DLV and comes across as desperate to impress, which is why I do it during comfort building and not to spike attraction.

When i'm in Italy, all my friends natter on and on about the "Englishman" yours truly, and therefore the Italian girls come running. Mostly for help with their English homework.

Those of us in America are more familiar with a culture based on Puritan values. That means sex = sin. That means everybody here is sexually repressed. That means everyone here just sucks at dating & relationships.

The European culture, on the other hand, is more open with sexuality and therefore did not go to war with Iraq. I mean they have smoother, more sexual people.
