yes, I love women and their way of thinking... yesterday my ex called me and asked me for a favor. It was about something I know (not an expert knowledge, but quite OK). I told her to pop me an email. It was very quick phone call, I was very busy in the moment.

We broke up more than a half a year ago and she wasn't eager to contact me (we live in different cities); she did try to meet me a month ago or so; she wanted me to come, I said "you come, I have already planned the weekend but you can participate", but finally she gave me an excuse that her girlfriend is coming over so we didn't meet. Our conversations were pretty neutral and I was a bit of a wussy.

Well, the email from her is so sweet with "Hello Prince Charming", "Sorry for taking up your time", "Could you please look at this draft". In fact it would take me 15 minutes - less than writing this post to reply to her request.

OK. What an AFC would do is:
1) Write a competent opinion.
2) Try to stay in touch.
3) Try to make it into something more.

Here is what I do:
1) Ignore the email.
2) Give myself to somebody who appreciates that: clients, friends, girls who call me not only when they need an expertise.
3) Fuck her is she comes in my way but only if she cooks something nice for me, or buy me food at a nice restaurant.

Honestly, I think she is a great girl. But she is still a girl. And she is the kind that are used to get favors from men. Don't give favors to this kind of women. Ever! Don't fall into the category "Can I repair your sink unit while the other guy sticks his dick in your face, pretty please?".

I blew it when I was with her and she stopped feeling attraction. But I recovered quickly and I don't have to fall into the wuss category, and I don't care if she perceives me that way or it is how she generally perceives men.

If you guys keep in contact then I would do it. But not as a favor, barter for it.

Now, I would not use it to make her commited to meeing you. Under different circumstances, and a different girl I probably would but not with her. It would appear that you are buying her company.

Instead, make her do something that does not involve you seeing her. Without knowing her and her talents, I would get her to bake you cookies.

Your time for her time. Is it something that needs to be done quick? If so, tell her that she needs to make and send them right away (dont do it with "I will make you some soon")

Keep it like a business arrangment. Then you can neg her about them not being all that great and her needing to do them again. This time though, she needs to hand deliver tham so they do not go stale.

Nothing is done for free, because you are not AFC.
