So here's my schedule.

I'm taking...

Intro to Linguistics.
Intro to Sociology.
Social Psychology.
Business Communications.

I was thinking about taking something else to work on body language, maybe acting or something. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Eh, it might not help with body language as much, but a PR, or Communications class can't ever hurt.

Just giving the speeches and shit like that will make you tons more comfortable in front of random ass people, and most professors (that i've heard of atleast) integrate body language into their communications courses.

Just a thought

I highly recommend drama classes, especially if you can take an Improv course, or there is a decent bit of improv occurring the course. From doing so much improv in drama, running game has a very similar feel and it's really easy to come up with good stuff on the fly. You'll get good at good facial expressions, vocal tonality, body language, projecting your voice, humor, positioning of people in a group will become second nature because it's something you learn to pay attention to in order to achieve optimum effect.

HIGHLY recommend drama.

try taking an improv comedy class.
intro to soc is good, see if they have the sociology of women, and social psychology which will help your group work. im a soc major myself.

I'm taking intro to sociology this semester too. I already took another course in sociology that had the intro course as the pre-req and got an A- in the class, so I'm hoping to get an A in this class.

Sorry, I digress. Anyway, I'm taking an intro to acting class this semester. I'm hoping it will help me with my body language and such. I'll let you know how it goes.

Improv is like a class for fun that will reduce stress and increase fun, it shouldn't be looked at as adding onto your course load.

Actually I was gonna try to look for a job too. I was only planning on taking 12 units, but I can never help but take a bunch.

I need some free time too, ya know?
