I read The Game about a year ago, and just came across this website. It's awesome and a lot of help. Last year, just by mirroring Style's techniques from his book, I was able to successfully open and continue on a conversation with a HB and her two friends.
If I remember correctly, the sarge went something like this:
I was wearing a black button-up shirt from Banana Republic, popped the collar, put on a pink tie, and fake magnet earings (all this was for peacocking of course). Got pumped, and went out to this new club with some friends for college night.
As soon as I stepped foot in the club I had to turn on my game. I started smiling, and going around shaking people's hands thanking them for coming.
Towards the middle of the night, two of my friends needed to use the bathroom, I knew where it was I walked them over there. On our way over, I saw a two set, a guy and a girl, dancing. I pointed my friends to the bathroom and told them if I am talking to a girl, DO NOT COME UP TO ME...
The guy was all on the girl, trying to kiss her and shit. The girl was tolerating him, but didn't kiss him. I knew that the guy wasn't her boyfriend. I had a chance. I approached the set opening with "Woah, looks like the party's over here" and I quickly turned to my target and said "If I wasn't gay you'd so be mine."
At this point, I got two responses. The first, the guy was like "that was the best line I have ever heard." The second, the HB started flipping out yelling "OMG you're GAY??? OMG but you're SOOOoo hot?!" and all kinds of other shit.
I never thought that disqualifier would work.
I then followed with the neg "How do you roll with her, she's so chatty?" Then I made some small talk. Asked how they met eachother, found out that they just met. I was able to dance with the HB and the guy went away. Then her fat friend Debbie Downer came over and said something stupid. I then tried to dacne with her but then she walked away LOL... but then I told the HB I had better get back with my friends and said I'll be back.... This was stupid. I should have numebr closed....
The club closed 10 minutes later and I couldn't find her again.
I fucked up. I have a lot to learn because I went to the mall the other day, tried to open some sets and got turned down hardcore... Where'd the game go? Gotta keep on working....
