Hey all, I just watched that movie 21 the other day (I'm overseas so movies take a little time to get here), and noticed a few things about it. There's some stuff in the movie that coincide with what happens to PUAs!
The movie is about some college kid/genius that ends up counting cards in Vegas. It's pretty cool how it shows him going from a dorky, socially inept loser to top of the world. His dress, attitude, body language, voice tonality, self-confidence, etc. all improves throughout the movie, and it's interesting to see the transformation. I've seen a couple of AFCs make the shift to PUAdom, and it's very similiar. I even got a couple of ideas for some suits that I'm going to get made from a local tailor!

That movie has yet to arrive in Europe, but thanks for the tip! I'll go watch it when it's here.

I'm in Holland, I work in a videostore and haven't even seen it on the order lists, so it'll still take a while I guess!

I thought it made perfect sense....

You had a one third chance when you originally picked, but then you were given a chance to change that one third chance to a two thirds chance by the elimination of one door.

I don't know when it will be out in Holland, I watched the movie in Turkey. It's in theaters in Italy, where I live, so good luck on getting to see it. That statistics lesson in the beginning is pretty good, but I kind of liked the "lesson" on peacocking. In Vegas, he could dress flashy and still kind of blend in a little, but back at home he stood out like a sore thumb, and everyone noticed him (in a good way, it appears). I try to apply that to where I'm at and wherever I go. Certain things work in some places, but not others. I guess just a challenge of traveling constantly. Does anyone know when this movie will be coming out on DVD? It's definitely going in my collection!

It's in a book of five years ago as well.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.

Excellent book, incidentally.
