But personally I love philosiphy, theology and physchology I talk about them frequently when I'm with girls, aparently they think I'm "deep and intellectual".

I also talk about vague themes of my beliefs throughout the entire pickup sometimes, but it usually isn't religiously framed. It mostly involves talking about living in the moment so that she is induced to have a good time with me.

I'm a Taoist philosophically, leaning toward Buddhism religiously.

I did a little field testing of religious topics during pick up. NOT extensive field testing, but I tested to my satisfaction.

Things I learned about talking religion:
1) It's very hit-or-miss. I never found out how to make it work seamlessly. I would equate hitting the religion button and it working to a fools mate.
2) Keep it a general discussion. You don't want to accidentally insult her which brings me to my next point.
3) NEVER neg on the girl's religious views. Seems like common sense, but seriously, don't do it. If you don't agree, take the opportunity to learn.
4) My opinion, only go there if mandated by the conversation. Hopefully, you'll be able to steer the convo away from the topic all together.

That being said, I'm interested in hearing what you want to use for your funny religion opener. Personally, I would be concerned about where the convo would go after that. Who wants to have a long-winded discussion about philosophy when first meeting someone?

if they bring it up, then sure, whatever, but i wouldnt bring something like that up unless you are in a place of worship w/ them or unless youre already in a relationship
