My plan was to go play a game of billiards, keep it fun and casual. However, all the tables were full but we did have a really fun and interesting conversation aprox 1 hour. We seemed to connect on many levels, but I did not use kino. We went to play a game of billiards in another venue then to the arcade (she was really into it)

She is really into music so I asked "Do you have a band that you really like but would never admit to actually listening? Something way beyond cheesy"

She started laughing and said she did. She asked me who mine was, and I told her I wouldnt say.

I was unsure how it went, so I wanted to test the waters with something CF. The next day I messaged her on FB the following:
ME: "You know... I am really curious to know who your 90s pop idol is. It has to be Mariah Carey, thats so you!!!"
HER: Haha no it's not Mariah Carey! I'll give you a hint it was a band and no not the spice girls either.

I wish I ended it here but I stupidly responded with
" Backstreet! Hanson! Getting close?"

She isnt the type to play games. She has always been straight forward. When I set the time, place and date she never tried to gain control by switching a detail.

Anyways I am unsure where to go from here. I want to regain control over my stupid last comment and ask her out again. When we message each other on facebook, I usually wait a day or two before replying. And my messages always (except for the last one) have a point or are CF.

Right now, it seems like one stupid comment could make or break something at the initial stages.

Would really like some input.

Totally agree. I just used that to test the waters. I really hate myself for the last text. Thing is we havent spoken over the phone yet, im just scared it might be a bit awk.
