ha, I'm right in the middle of everyone here actually and yes i agree that you cannot be too old. As far as young def not younger than 14 or 15, haha. Im 20 and i just started teaching my lil cousin who is 17. He's always been like my lil brother and i really enjoy having him come out with us . Tommorow will be his first night as a recovering AFC. One of the absolute best books I have read devoted specifically to the subject of overcoming shyness to attract women is Without Embarassment by Mike Pilinski. It will help you understand and come to grips with what you are feeling and experiencing and also teach you to reframe your behaviors and reality. If you have shyness issues I highly reccommend you check that shit out.

What you have, or have not, experienced in those years that make you what you are today is the issue.
Have you had positive experiences with women/ social interactions over the years or negative ones?

That's what I base my own barometer of success on, and being 39 with my lack of experience, it would be 20x harder for me to learn to attract women than it would a 19 yr old as I have 39 years of incompetence to try to overcome.

In other words, if I was competent my age would not matter at all but for me personally it is definately too late as I have no experience whatsoever.
If I were 30 I'd stand a much better chance.

I don't think old-dude game has any disadvantages. Swinggcat talks about how a little incongruency to send mixed signals is an advantage. The question is, is being "older" yet playful being attractively incongruent? I think as long as you don't come across like you are trying (at all) then you won't raise the flags that make them wonder if your some creepy old guy who is into young chicks.
