For any opinion opener's you need to have a reason for asking that question, unless its a silly question. I never tried to pick up a girl at the mall(just my co-workers), A good opener if you have a wing, is the direct approach opener. go up to a girl and you tell her that your friend is diggin(likes) her and he wanted to talk to her, then point to your friend( if your the friend don't stand there looking at them, turn around and look at something, theres plenty of things at the mall to marvel at). if she agrees call your buddy over and then your buddy can take it from there. Do this with a 3 set because then you can talk to the friends while your buddy(wing) hooks the target.

Me and a friend was reading this post and thought the makeup line was such a winner so when we go out to in a few weeks to birmingham we're gonna try it.

Cosmetics department in a mall

"Hey what make up do you think would look good on me? - If they give you some advice just say Oh my god you really think i'd wear that?"

Then say its a gift for your sister/cousin etc and take it from there
