So me and my wing ended up going to a salsa club last night (I wrote a field report about it on the field report section) and there was this HB9 that i saw as soon as we walked in. The moment we walked into the room hella people turned to look at us (Im always peacocked and I always try to make somewhat of an "Entrance"), including the HB9. I moved to the bar and got a drink and when I turned around, the HB9 looked at me. Then a bit later i was on the dance floor, and I think she looked again. Later that night I was sitting at my table and she went to sit right next to us. Some dude came up and asked her to dance so she went with him, but while she was dancing I could swear she kept looking at me. Then she went to sit in the table right next mine by her self. As soon as she did, my wing said he was gonna open her. They talked for a bit and they moved to the dance floor. While she was dancing with my wing, I think I saw her look at me again.

After the club, Me and my wing went back to denis to go over the nigth and correct shit for next week. I told him about the HB9 and he said "you should have aproached her, but I think your reading a little too much into it".

So i guess Im just asking :was I really reading too much into it? or was she giving signals that she wanted me to aproach her?

Well, I'd say the first time or two you caught her looking at you, it was most likely an invitation to open.

The other times, depending on the actual look could have been a "man that guy's a creeper" look, seeing as you kept looking at her, but never approached her.

It also depends on how outrageously you were peacocked in comparison to everyone else there.



It's hard to tell you what a look means over the internet, second hand, however, next time, if you are questioning if it's an invitation to open, then it's an invitation to open. You can even turn that into your opener.

Something to the effect of "I saw you looking at me, you're not going to end up stalking me tonight are you?"....insert response...."Good/Uh oh, because one time....insert stack material here"

Well, it wasnt like I was stareing at her, it was more like I'd be in my own little world having a covesations and shit, and when I turned towards the dance floor she would make quick eye contact and then look away. Usually I would take that as a signal to aproach, but she spent most of the time on the dance floor up untill she went to sit by us.

Also, I wasnts peacocked in an outrageous way. The club we were at had a very loose dress code, and I was semi-suited up in armani clothes, so I hella stood out.

I hope she wasnt thinking I was creepy, but who knows. what do you guys think?

I'd say that sounds like a fairly clear cut invitation. Next time you find yourself wondering if something is a signal, or an invitation, if you should kiss a girl, or try to f-close her, etc, you try it, you find out, then you'll know for future reference.

Those were definitely AIs/IOIs. Also, if a girl keeps checking you out and you keep looking back her, that does not make you look like a creeper. That just makes you look indifferent. She probably thinks that this guy simply just doesn't care b/c he never approached me, after numerous opportunities. Can somebody tell Z how he would approach this girl if he sees her again? I kind of found myself in a similar situation at school.
