Another insane opener from me to you... I tried and it actually works. Thing is that I peacock heavily so people believe most of the insane stories I tell them...

Opener:
Hey guys, I need a quick opinion on something. I have to call my ex back in a while but... Do you think that stuff you use for regrowing hair would work on animals? Like a hamster?

Set: bla bla bla

Transition:
Reason I ask is,my ex GF just called me and she and her new BF (annoyed look, roll eyes), were having a romantic evening (roll eyes). They were watching Titanic in his sisters room since she is out of town for a few weeks and he cares for her hamster. Anyway, they let the hamster roam free and it gets too close to the candles, well, you guess the rest... They catch it before it gets really hurt but the hair is gone on one side and they want to hand it back in good condition. But now she wants to know if it would work or if it would make things worse, i mean what if it is toxic for hamsters...
End of routine

Thing is, there are some things you are not allowed to laugh about even though they are funny:
- Children getting hurt
- Animals getting hurt
If you tell this in a good way, they will burst out laughing and if you manage not to laugh you can neg them for being evil.

Opener could work .. in the transition however you make it sound as if she dumped you for another guy. Not the best DHV
I would rephrase this somehow:

No actually thinking about it .. don't root the story with a story of your ex and her new BF. That's kinda weird heh ...

Heh, maybe youre right... It worked when I tried it but maybe I should make it about my ex-GF and her friends.

How about "My ex keeps calling me to death, asking me to help her....."

I would think that would show som DHV because you Ex is calling YOU a BUNCH.

Sorry man, the opener should be something you just thought of... Something that happens now, in panic... If she has been calling me the for a month asking advice about a hamster it all becomes a bit retarded... No offense...
