I used to whip my hands towards the floor in an effort to have the sweat fly clean off. That sounds amazing I'll have to try that next time!

You might have a condition known as hyperhidrosis. My girlfriend has it.

three way you can prevent sweaty palms.

Non pharmacological method----
Try clapping cornstarch or talcum powder between your palms. Medicated powders are available to soak up moisture, too.
Use an unscented, aluminum salt-based antiperspirant, preferably a product made for palms and feet.
Wipe your palms often on tissues or a hand towel.
Apply aluminum chloride paint to the area for persistent clamminess.

medical SPAM
Topical glycopyrrolate as 0.5% aqueous solution
Apply aluminum chloride paint to the area for persistent clamminess.

surgical SPAM
To surgically treat sweaty palms , a small part of the sympathetic nerve responsible for excessive sweating is removed

I thought there was also a SPAM to stop sweating by making botox injections.

Sweating problems prevented me from having a girlfriend until college. It's genetic. I got the surgery 20 years ago and my sweating stop on my hands but sped up on my feet and now have some issues with it on my back and chest. If only they had botox back then. Sage can work too.

ANTIPERSPIRANT ON THE HANDS. It'll feel weird...but it blocks the sweat glands. Also on the back.

Aluminum-based antiperspirants have been linked to Alzheimers disease. So I would suggest if you do use them, do so infrequently. Just a heads up.
