Ok let's say i walk into a nightclub with some really 'loud' clothing, when you get approached by lets say an hb9 and she says 'hey! I like your shirt' what are some good responses to that, and where do you take the conversation.

Tips about peacocking:

1) Anything you wear to peacock should be a fun item of clothing that matches your personality. I could never peacock with gothic clothes because it isn't congruent with my personality. Whatever you wear, should fit in well with the rest of your game. So never wear anything that isn't *you*.

2) When peacocking, the goal is to get the girl to open you. So when she comes up and asks about your shirt, it's an IOI. You could say anything that isn't lame, and still be able to run normal game on her. You could say, "I like crazy shirts. Hey, do you believe in spells...?" and still do well in-set.

3) The best way, though, is to have a story attached to everything you are wearing. Before you go out, think of something interesting about each peacocking item that you have on. Try to weave conversation about your peacocking items into your DHV stories. You could say, "Oh, this shirt? There's actually a story behind it..."

Whatever you do in response to peacocking items, it has to be congruent with your personality. Think about positive qualities you have, or a good story about yourself, and use that when a chick asks you about the items.

I am in a smaller city and most guys wear jeans and a nice shirt out to the clubs. I would feel weird wearing a Hollywood peacock outfit in our local night clubs. But I usually go home alone too.

Can't a guy dress nice without being hit on?
