All right I have a theory in developement. The question "Which would you rather be for a day, a clown or a mime?"

Now I have noticed that the people that reply Clown are usually pretty outgoing, loud, and just in general live a little less unrestrained. Which ironically is kind of like a clown which has a macabre of loud colors generally, they are all over the place, making noise and what not. Extrovert.

The people that respond Mime are generally more quiet, reserved, and not so outlandish as there opposite, clothing wise or personality. Introvert.

I have asked the Clown or Mime question to people I know very well, people I know a little bit (at the time), and people I have just met and have gotten to know. It as of so far has been a great indicator of personality. I don't know exactly how this could be utilized but I think it may have a place in the seduction arsenal.

This is just a theory. Feedback would be nice.

I agree with hobbit. It sounds like a good cold read pattern.

Maybe you could tie it in with some other questions related to the circus?

Lion Tamer- Likes to be in control of things
Tight Rope Walker- Likes to take risks?

Just had this thought. I'm not sure you mentioned this about the mime, but you could say that she never voices herself when she gets hurt, instead she sends subtle cues in hopes that someone will pick up on it. I know that really describes me, and I would deffinately pick mime as my answer.

Hmmm.... maybe a new cube-style routine about the circus?

"In your circus, which animals are trained to perform?" (Draw parallels to personality)

"In your circus, would you get shot out of the cannon?" (Draw parallels to the person's adventurism)

"In your circus, how big would the crowd be?" (Draw parallels to the person's self-image)

Ok here is "The Circus"

I made this up at work today.

You: Imagine you own a circus. What color is your circus tent? (Basic personality.)

Her answer.

You: How big is the tent? (Ego)

Her answer.

You: Are there clowns in your circus or mimes? (Based off my clown vs. mime theory. A more in depth cold read on her personality.)

Her answer.

You: Is there a high wire walker? (Tells you whether she is a risk taker.)

Her answer

You: How big is tent bellow? (If she answers yes.) How big would the net be if there was one? (If she answers no.) (Tells you how big her social circle is.)

Her answer

You: Whats the lion tamers lion like? (Tells you what she looks for in a guy.)

This is all theory and I have had no chance to try it, but I will field test. This is derived from opinions on this thread and the cube. Feel free to throw out comments. Depending on how well it works I may repost it as a thread of its own. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Wow this is a really cool idea...
Maybe a couple of suggestions, don't jump through the performers or from performer to another, instead try and make it a nice flowing story...

the mime and clown idea is great... then perhaps you could say

Me: "WOOOW! this is my favorite part! the lion tamer's coming!! they step int the ring - now is it a man or a woman?" - this could be used to talk about what role she wants to have in a relationship - the lion tamer represents the dominant force in the relationship so if she chooses a man then she wants an alpha man, if she chooses women then she wants to be the decision maker... because im sure that most of the time women don't even know what they want so they will gobble up whatever you tell them... this is where I think you want to steer the conversation...
