She has noticed you, and she says something to you (even if it's asking a silly question). Respond, but don't let her go. Ask her a question about what she said. For example, if she said: "Do they sell bottled beer here?" Ask her what kind of bottled beer she drinks. (or at a library, who is your favorite author, What is your favorite book, etc). Once she gives you a response...

YOU: "You have good tastes. My name is [your name]"
(You've just associated your name with her good tastes)

HER: "Thanks. My name is Karen"

YOU: "Karen, I need a favor..."

HER: (She will stumble or, if easy, just ask what it is you need)

YOU: "I have to get answers for a project I am working on. Will you do me a favor and answer two questions for me?"

HER: "Sure, I'll try."
(By believing she is doing you a favor, she will begin to like you more: people like people more after doing them a small favor)

YOU: "What is the most frightening movie scene you have ever watched?"
[or "What is the scariest amusement park ride you have ever been on?"]

HER: (She will have to think back to a frightening moment that will arouse her emotions of fear. When people feel arousal, they tend to associate that with sexual attraction to whomever they are with, in this case YOU!)

YOU: "Wow, I'd like to hear more about that, but I have one more question... Please think about this before answering... What song really makes you feel good; really makes you feel happy; really turns you on? Close your eyes so you can concentrate (if she hesitates, excert power "Close your eyes!")

HER: She will be thinking of music that makes her feel good, and she will tell you what that music is when she opens her eyes.

YOU: (When she opens her eyes, make direct eye contact and hold it. Studies show that eye contact increases sexual attraction) "Thank you Karen" (One's name is usually the most important word to them). "We should continue this." (smile).

You can now either just return to your drink at the bar; your book at the table, or whatever it is you were doing. She will find a reason to return to you - she is then yours.

Very nice, this one has a lot of NLP backing which I like.
I have something similar like this that I've only used a few times, but everytime it has increase the attraction of the girl to almost obsession

This is a good opener, I like it. And yes, if she finds you to continue the conversation, I'd say you've hooked her.

I just added a couple of NLP tricks to that words to create more attraction in the unconscious level.

Another thing you can do after she gives you the answers is talking about the feelings to build rapport.

Example:

HB: The exorcist scene, when the girl was possessed...
PUA: Oh really, (You can add: I was scared too because ... ) And how you felt (Don't let her answer) It was like every part of you was in a little shock and it was like a hot burst in your body that last few seconds right ?
It's funny because that sensation is kind of the same sensation you feel when you... (Point yourself ) seeee the person you like.
( The point here is that you describe what you feel when you are scared and then you have to relate this feeling with love. )

I think better than saying "I need you to do me a favor...," one can say: "You need to do me a favor now."

As for being the one to start it, you could always try asking her what good books (at the library); what is the best draught beer (at the bar), etc.
