Can anyone give me some tips on avoiding oneitus. I have this girl who's newly available after having broken up with her long time boyfriend. So she's on the rebound possibly which makes it more hazardous. I buy in to the idea of oneitus and don't want to get too into this like I have at other times and hurt what chances I have with her. I think I have a shot and I've always been interested in her.

The problem is that I don't really have any other potential girls to date or be with right now. With where I am in my small town college right now I don't really have the opportunity to go bar scouting. I know you're going to say to look for some other girls on campus but I'm just starting you know and not very good to just go and pick up random girls who already know who I am since we're a small college. So any advice on better ways to find opportunities to avoid oneitus either with other girls or in mindset would be appreciated.

Everyone gets oneitus, ive got it right now over my ex... but dont worry its abit NLP'ish but you need to find some stuff to do to get you away from thinking of her.. ever been snowboarding? i havnt... so guess what im doing next week, taking lessons! am i ever going to actually go on a snowboarding holiday? hell no! but it will stop me thinking about the evil witch which has been named "the ex".

Another thing which i read is people confuse LUST with LOVE, you dont actually love this girl, your just lusting after her.

Sounds like you have some inner game issues... fuck thinking "oh man these girls already know me i cant do stuff now its weird"... get your arse over there and go "OI!.... you know what, people around here are to arrogant sometimes... ive got 5 minutes to kill, and i thought... you like someone whos never heard of the cube, so here goes.... *RUN THE CUBE*".

They will love it! - believe me, ive used it plenty of times in day game.. all you will get when you've ran it for the next 10 minutes is "god your so interesting". Then she'll go tell all her mates you did it, and they will want it. Then you can be like "im not your dancing monkey... that was our little secret!" then run routines on her friends..

Thanks I really appreciate the advice. Yeah I have some serious inner game things to work on. I'll try to approach more though. I knew I needed to do that more to get over oneitus. Its not easy but I've got to try I guess. I get plenty of IOIs but my inner game makes it hard. I've got social anxiety disorder and it makes it difficult.
