so when attempting to DHV, i conveniently bring up cool things that i know girls love.

an example from tonight:
HB: "blahblabhblah i model"
me: "really?! i'm a photographer!"

then i go into how i photograph concerts. and the bands i photograph are major bands which i guarantee you've heard of. and how i'm long time friends with some of them.

another thing is i occasionally my lakehouse where i summer at on the weekends in wisconsin.

i don't drop this flat out, i usually wait for a subtle clue that will let me insert the DHV. i know girls eat this shit up and it hooks everytime, but i'm wondering if this is too much/try hard. i know it's a good thing for them to know, but seeing if there is a better way to get this information across in the initial conversation. thanks!

DHV-ing is the act of looking so self assured that you dont feel the need to brag and that coincidentally placed items of your worth apear all through your run of the mill stories.
