Long story short my friends and I went to the mall (they know about the game). Basically this is what they did, they had to talk to 10 random people in 10 minutes, guys or girls although it should be mostly girls. Anyways they both did it in their first try.

I couldn't do it. I asked for directions a few times, it was progress but it wasn't that good.

A little bit later they all went to the food court and did openers to different girls. Both fucked up, although they did some things right.

The problem I have is, I care way too much what people think and I was shopping around for the right person to ask directions, which is also bad. I don't know how to improve this anxiety.

Thoughts?

it's all about doing it more then once, twice, thrice...... so on, eventually you'll get used to it and you can actually get progress.

Just see it as practice and you'll be fine. And keep in mind it isn't about what you say, it's about how you say it. Think positive and think about the perfect outcome.

Seriously i'd start with hired guns...go to like shoppers drugmart, pretend your going to buy cologne, and ask the girl in the cosmetics which one is better. Get a good conversation going, it'll give you a great confidence boost, and get's you in a more talkative mood.

I just get into the mindset that the outcome doesnt matter. Dont put too much thought into it or hesitate JUST DO IT before you can think of a reason not too.

Keep it up and it will get easier and feel more natural.
