How messed up is our society? really i mean how messed up has it gotten? I'm walking with my mate talking about life and women close to my house, just having a cool good time and these 3 guys in hoodies appear out of nowhere, as we were walking by they made a formation one at the very back and the two of his friends on both the left and right hand side very forward! Not talking to each other or anything i could feel something was totally wrong! This seemed like a unusual and un-normal circumstance but i kept walking and ignoring them and suddenly as we passed them i could feel their eyes glazing, they were sizing us up. I was 6..2 exactly as my friend, they had a guy who was 5..5-..7 and another guy about 5..7 -9 and a guy who was around 6 foot Indian with a hat that’s all i could see in the dark.

Anyway one of them turns around and is like Psst, FAGGOT! fucking cunt, turn around faggot, out of no where. As a man I’m thinking okay I’m either going to have to keep cool and hope he doesn’t follow me or if he attacks me I will fight to the death, i can't let him go, once he starts i have to go all the way. He kept talking to his friends, CUNT he screamed.. hey, pst, turn around fucking cunt! I kept walking.. so did my friend.. i noticed on the way past there was something glimmering, i could swear it was a knife! Luckily nothing happened we kept walking!

As i was going back that same route to go home, my hands were shaking and my mind was made up, if i saw them again i would attack them I wouldn’t wait for them to stirr me, id go into full attack and destroy at least one of them, seriously injure and put all my effort into doing as much serious damage on them as i could. Luckily nothing happened.

My hand still shakes i think ill make a police report in the morning, I've seen enough shit in what used to be my peaceful neighbourhood!

And its not like I'm some small guy, I’m 6..2 and work out, and if they can pick on me, imagine what they can do to someone else. I've now seen people braking into homes, spray painting, braking into cars, durg selling.

Now Imagine you were with a beautiful 8 coming home, and this happend to you? and you had to protect her! and there were 3 or more people ready to jump you. What would you do?

Probably tell the girl to go get help, then turn around and confront them. If any of them went to chase her, you knock him out first.

Honestly stuff like this doesnt surprise me anymore...a few days back i heard about a group of 3rd graders who made up plans to kill thier teacher and clean up the mess afterwards...3rd graders who understand that when they stab someone to death they need to get rid of the body and clean up the evidence...

Also i grew up in a very dangerous school system, i was stabbed once and on 2 different ocasions someone tried straggling me with a chain...

So i grew up learning very quickly how to handle myself, and a big part of that is being able to read peoples body language and know they are upto no good.

I havent lived in the city or had to deal with a flat out fight for years, but i still get tense when someone walks behind me or gives off that dangerous vibe. Tense in a way where i know that i may have to protect myself and i prepare for it, becomming alert to every sound and detail.

I have numerous times turned to people behind me making comments and just make EC and give them the 1000 yard stare. I stand up straight and kinda puff up...not a maucho bs puff up...i mean breathing deep, being prepaired and showing challenging body language.

Most of these guys wana beat on someone that wont fight back, and they are in a group to reduce thier chance of being in a real fight...if you show them your not afriad usually they back off. If not at least you see it comming.

Also consider taking some martial arts, im a firm beleiver that everyone (hypotheticlly excluding crimanlly minded persons) should know how to defend themselves, with the intent of never needing to use it unless attacked. If everyone had this mentality no one would ever need to use it.

Im not a big guy, im average hieght and wieght and am not very intimidateing, but i know how to come accross as intimidateing and i also know how to defend myself. Essentially it comes down to refusing to be a victim or let people intimidate you. Another good thing is to know where is safe to be at what times.

i live in London and its relatively unsafe. When i was younger i refused to bring my phone with me or any other valuables. Eventually i got 'street wise' and was able to detect which people are a potential threat. I would make sure that i keep an eye on them and if was intimidated i would try and go another route. I totally agree that its a must to learn self defense however ive been approached and been told to hand over my money and phone but now i can defuse the situation by keeping confidence and not acting fazed by it.

OMG I HEARD THAT TOO

They were planning to kill the teacher because one of them got up on their chair and she scolded at him..It's soo sad.

The rate at which violence has integrated itself with society is mind-blowing..

People just need to calm down and control themselves.

Nowadays you've got to be careful at all times , because you never know, when some buttface is gonna pop out of no where and want to have your valuables....

On one occasion a guy came up to me in the underground station, wanting to rob me off my mobile phone. There weren't many people around at that time. I just ignored him and hoped i didnt need to confront him, after a while he started screaming at me to give him my mobile or he'd stab me... LOL!
Everybody was already staring, i just laughed at him and said: "Yeah, yeah, forget it, you aint getting my mobile (although my phone was worth lousy 20 Euros)." When the metro came, he wanted to apologize and shake my hand, again in the screaming attitude... I ignored him and entered the other wagon, not to be in the same one as he is.

Got very lucky there, who knew what would have happened if i'd had shook his hand, maybe he'd pull a knife out.

I know some capoeira, ive done it for one year, a year ago, but i really doubt martial arts is gonna help you very much, unless you've practiced at least over 2 years straight.

2 words: Fight Club.

Perhaps in another web forum titled the "Fight Club Forum", there's a person posting a thread about how he scared the shit out of some dude.

Anyways, totally weird. I can fight but if there's a knife involved, my best hopes is being a bleeder. In other words, drowning the other person in my own blood.

Of course, before I drown myself.

i typically stay away from fights. mostly because of the fact i know this guy who is like 5"2 and the toughest mofo i ever met. i once saw him beat up 3 bouncers at once (all guys bigger than him). It just goes to show you never know who your fucking with.

I did get into a fight last summer though. At the time i had a girlfriend and this idiot was calling her a slut and shit at a party. i confronted him about it. he then chose to crack a beer bottle over a railing on the wall and hold it to my face. I then chose to take my fist and crack it over his jaw and threw him down a flight of stairs. He then made the wise decision to apologize the next day to me.

something most people don't realize is your leg muscles are some of the biggest and most powerful muscles in ur body and you can produce the most explosive energy from your legs. look at hockey or speed skating or olympic dashes. all produce immense amounts of energy from their legs. i once seen a guy that knew kick-boxing kick someone across a room.

it may sound gay to you but it's one of the best self defense methods.

Fact is, you can have all the muscles and martial arts in the world, but when the other guy pulls out a gun or gets to stab on you with his knife, its game over...

Way to be open minded DTM. Have you not learned to open yourself up to new experiences in your time studying PUA? Don't jump to conclusions without any information, because you look ignorant and it's a DLV, just like calling anything "gay", it's one of the biggest DLVs out there and you sound like you should go back to elementary school to anyone that hears it.

I think its always a good idea to be prepared for these situations. For example, take up fight lessons or self defense lessons, such as boxing, muay thai or those kinda stuff.

What I also can suggest is to always walk on the streets where there is light, and people, especially when its dark. If you walk in places where there are people around, its unlikely for them to try and beat you up. I know this because I got mugged in this kind of situation.
