Have been reading through many topics about openers in the forum tonight and this is one of the shortest but best so far. Field tested soon it shall be

wow that is a good 1, 1 opinion opener i use at restraunts or where ever there is food and i have a wing is "hey guys, we where wonderin if you know why vegiterians choose to be so? i think its cause..blah blah blah, my mate thinks because blah blah blah" and then at the end of it i add a joke or something like..hay u never know, they could be into beastiality or something haha, ive used that last line once and it got a good laugh out of it, havnt tried it again though..

I honestly cannot see this one working, it lacks humour, sounds slimey and doesnt work much in the way of DHV. Just my personal opinion, but I wouldnt even attempt this one

I agree...I'm sure it COULD work, but there are much better openers to use that:
1. DHV better
2. DON'T telegraph interest

If you are saying "dont you hate guys... that don't come up to you," its pretty obvious that you are coming up to her to hit on her. But if you instead open with an opinion opener, or Mystery's "did you see those girls fighting outside," it makes it seem like you have something on your mind and you just HAD to tell the closest person to you. This way you don't telegraph interest at all.

Recently, I've been opening as if I really don't even want to be talking to the girl. Completely disinterested bodylanguage, not even facing her, just turning my head and asking a question...then sometimes looking away before she even answers, and then finally looking back to her in the middle of her answer, or when she literally grabs me and turns me towards her. I think this works well because it really makes her work to get your attention. And theres no way she'll think you're interested at all!

Yes this opener shows interest and is direct but these not only work amazing but also you dont waste your time. It is not what you say but how you present it.

'Whether or not you agree with his harsh, straight to the point mentality, truth be told, he’s the most active/ dedicated / motivating member on this board. He’s routinely getting newbies and current members out sarging, pushing them into sets, given them suggestions and advice, replying to posts more often then anyone else. I was reading some of mystery's openers and the 1 about the fight outside caught my eye. This got me thinking of a way i can adapt it.

Pua) Hey guys!.. Did you see the fight outside?
When they begin to awnser, cut across them.
Pua) There was this guy and his gf, properly screaming at each over. So loads of people ran over to split them up but they went straight to the guy and held him back but they ignored the girl. And she just kept bitching.
Now this got me and my freind arguing, which gender is the bitchiest? (then just smile cheekily at them)
HB)Guys/Gals (carry on from there) quite often they reply with asking you why you went to them, just smile and say no reason.

I like your changes to this, pretty good. Hoewever, I still think that using this opener is potential suicide

I think these all work in some context or another. I especially like the last two.

One thing I have read is to 'save' opinion openers for later in the conversation (I guess they aren't openers then). They'd come in handy to keep conversation up. But it's all a matter of your game, I suppose.
