Hi guys...went on my 2nd sarge last night if u can call it that... bit disapointed i thought it would be well easier...but im gonna put it down to experience (lack of) anywho...i went out in Bolton had a few drinks etc etc and decided to try few things.

but i feel it all seems far too seedy to be pulled off so i did the 5truths with a couple of my friends...and then some people i kinda knew...won myself 7 drinks but mostly with guys its hard work nd i think i do better with my AFC ways :S...as usually i never go out without k-closing a girl but last night wasa failure...

so i think this highlights the importance of hooking up with like minded people to sarge!!

i wont be able to do anything til around the 19th of april as i have alot on but i think if everyone could organise and schedule time off etc etc then it would be good to set a solid date??

also it gives us time to further build our game in the mean time

A solid date? It needs to be multiple times a week if you want to make reasonable progress. Mystery recommends 4 nights per week, 4 hours per night, 3 approaches per hour. Style says the minimum should be 2 nights per week.

We should all arrange a few nights per week and a meeting place and whoever can make it should turn up. Going out once or twice a fortnight just won't cut it. Long gaps in between sarges will result in much slower progress and the possibility of going "rusty".

I'd say Friday and Saturday nights are a must. I'm also going to aim for at least two week nights while I haven't got any lectures.

We need to be there to support each other and help break through our sticking points and gain confidence.

I agree. You've got to keep it pretty consistent if you're going to progress. The more you do it, the more you acclimatise yourself to the sarging situation. You'll start to develop a sixth sense almost. If you break it up, you'll constantly be re-visiting and trying to improve aspects of you're game, which holds you back.

Looking for some new experiences

Hi Guys, I have been reading up on the game recently and mysteries method, i am a newbie and want to change my AFC ways! i am looking to go out sarging with anyone who can give a helping hand, I think the best way of learning is by watching people who have mastered the game and understand what they are doing, If anybody is interested in sarging in Manchester (anytime any place) i am more than willing to join and learn from the best!

heys guys, im from manchester. went out in bury the other weekend and it went okay. didnt k close but got into many sets where the opportunity was there, using 'jealous girlfriend opener', 'can i get a female opinion', 'did you see that fight outside' etc! just need the experience now. hopefully can get a group of us going, and all go out sarging together, meet up and share ideas, openers etc. im new to this forum so just getting to grips on how it works. but p.m me and we will try and get something sorted!
