Eh, what's up Doc?
Have you heard of the concept of fractionation in NLP? It's when you place your target into a trance state, then snap them out for a few minutes, then put them back in...and the second time, it will be much much more powerful.
Well I tried this today on a hired gun, initially I got tons of IOIs, then I broke the trance and conversation by doing a takeaway for 10 minutes, then came back to reinitiate. Unfortunately, it didn't work so well! It's almost as if the "magic" that was in the first conversation didn't carry into the second conversation, and it felt a little awkward when I did came back.
Would you say that fractionation only works if you don't leave the set and instead carry on a normal DHV/fluff convo for awhile?
Personally I NEVER use Milton Model (Hypnotherpy) principals on a target... which includes eliciting trances... however to answer your question about fractionation (I've heard it called trance fracturing myself)... what you are doing is taking someone to a NEAR peak state within the trance, then breaking or fracturing the trance progression before it's finished... I would say 10 minutes is to long of a fracture period, and also not leave during the fracture... I'd keep talking to her and using Key Vocabulary in your speaking to keep her unconcious thinking on a similiar path to the trance. This will build more pressure behind the fracture if you will... Think of it like kinking a hose... you don't wanna turn the water off or it will just fizzle out when you unkink it... however if you let the water keep going in the slowly with you key word usage then when you unkink (repair the fracture) the emotional pattern will explode!
